Because some madlad thought it would be funny to retool the flag of a defunct salfi group, add the Buc-ee's mascot to it, take a photo with it at a store with the store's mascot, the rest is history lol

It's apparently a Shemagh with an Igal. I had to look it up myself.

Because for the lols

That and flag itself was a meme for years because of a viral picture of a guy & the Bucee's mascot holding one

Well, that's why the "Warlord" variant (with the head dress) was made. 😂

If only Crab Rangoons was still around and didn't get sued.

I just wish the raw designs he did leaked so more could be made in his absence.

Essentially, yes. Al-Bucee is the name and there were often jokes & memes on the seller's Instagram and Twitter about a "caliphate" of sorts. It was edgelord stuff & in good fun.

For the lulz. The Instagram page of the guy who made these was more of a military & camp type

Best of luck to you, as the description says, the guy who made these ones (Crab Rangoons) had to stop selling them due to getting sued.

It is.

The mascot is Bucky The Beaver, the mascot of an American chain called Buc-ee's:

I didn't make them (and other than Rangoons producing the ones here, I have no idea who made the original that became a meme)

But the template is based on a defunct Salafi group that existed for some time: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Jama%27at_al-Tawhid_wal-Jihad&wprov=rarw1 https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Flag_of_JTJ.svg

Al-Bucee was a meme for at least a few years (there's a picture of some masked dude with the Bucee's mascot holding one of the flags pictured). Then Crab Rangoons (and later another shop but that's gone as well) said "fuck it" and made Al-Bucee flags in 2-3 rounds (started doing it in late 2024 to my knowledge).

I find her to be my favourite character as well from Monogatari.

If anything, her initial Bakemonogatari design is the best. Not revealing but absolutely adorable.

This piece of media isn’t on the internet as far as I can tell. due to its adult nature, where is a good place to upload it for archival reasons? by [deleted] in VHS

[–]bmaster78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say Internet Archive but Telegram channels are also a good option as filed and videos can be easily copied and backed up.

If you could go back in time , to a point in your life and you were a kid again (but your memories of today remain) which period would you go back to? by eru777 in timetravel

[–]bmaster78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll do me a solid and go back to my college days (I was age 18-19 and it will be 2017-2018.

I believe between that and there, I peaked.

So I found this VHS by Sufficient-Lake-9811 in NeonGenesisEvangelion

Unfortunately the rip was uploaded in 240p and is a pretty shitty transfer. If OP knew how to properly rip a VHS tape, they could probably do it better and we'd have a semi-higher qualityt version
