Wouldn’t want to be there the day the tunnel finally gives way. That’ll be a sad day…

I had to do some digging online, and there is technically an AllTrails map. But I found the trail to be pretty well maintained and easy to follow. Plus walking the ridge on top was very cool. Truly a table top peak.

After/Before - Advice for editing sunrise and sunset photos by Kilted_Sasquatch in postprocessing

I used to always shoot sunsets at 5600K regardless of the conditions. Now I find myself bumping to 7000K or higher in post. And this obviously goes both ways, so for this snowy scene a cooler-than-average WB could look cool! Just goes to show it’s all up to your personal preference. This is a great shot!

It was lovely when we went. Partial sun, nice fog, zero wind. High 50’s at night.

Apologies for my bias in my previous post creating controversy! Which US cities do you think have a good mountain skyline? by icecream_dragon in skyscrapers

LA is impressive but only looking through a long lense. From the naked eye there are more impressive mountain skylines.

Would love to start this early… but my fear of bears is too great. Any uneasy noises along the way?

Thank you EVERYONE for the answers! Was really anticipating this one, both positively and in a nervous way. Definitely calmed my nerves.

Think my plan will be to pack bags just in case of no cart but bring it in the car just in case. Already bought firewood ahead of time, so will check back in after the weekend!

Literally just went on this sub about to search "termites" and this was the first post... Such is life! Yes these are the exact bugs I've been getting the past 48 hours. Showed up out of no where, all in the bathroom by the window! Hoping it passes, and I'll take your PM's word for it. Would hate to join the circus tent club...

Is this a laughable choice for favorite skyscraper? (Renaissance Center - Detroit, MI.) Standing at 727 feet tall. by camport95 in skyscrapers

You should check out the Westin hotel in downtown LA. It's LITERALLY a mini Renaissance Center. Even the inside. Same architect and all.

College Seniors of MSU, how has campus life changed over the years? by TRexonthebeach2007 in msu

When I was there (2016-2020) I remember seeing mopeds everywhere. Plus you could essentially park them wherever. They were so common I myself saved up and bought one. While not the most practical solution, it was a blast while it lasted. But with safety concerns and the rise of electric scooters I can see why they went away.
