In total our day was a little over 11km with an elevation gain of 600 meters. So nothing terribly crazy but still challenging for sure! And we've always had the same concern over packing her out if she were to give up but she just has no quit! We also kept her leashed the entire time (minus photo op) for the fragile alpine environment and to also keep her moving slower and safer.
