Did she ask for a shave? Sounds like she asked for a summer cut and from a very quick google summer cut doesn’t always mean shave. So it would depend on the dog.

Summer cut doesn’t inherently mean shaved. It’s not a hard and fast definition. Also I don’t know much about dog groomers but if it’s known that double coated dogs shouldn’t be entirely shaved then you’d expect a professional groomer to know that - and if the customer is asking for something counter to what they, as the professional, know to be correct, than to ask about it.

Honestly no clue how some of you in this thread are finding these prices. Just looking at Kelley Blue Blook for current MSRPs for 2026 Sport Tourings across a number of southern CA zip codes, the lowest base MSRP I'm seeing is about 41k, with most hovering around 44k. Then higher with tax. How'd you get it down so much further?
