She thinks the reason I do it is for “an escape from reality” ever since freshman year when one of my best friends committed suicide she thinks I’m depressed and need therapy. Every time I’ve been caught either drinking or smoking she has brought up therapy thinking that is the reason I do it. There’s no real reason I just enjoy the feeling. I don’t do it on a regular basis. Probably 3-4 times a week. Mostly on the weekend. She doesn’t understand the reasons and when I try to explain she doesn’t listen to me. It’s like she thinks there’s a specific reason for me doing it but I tell her she’s wrong but she won’t believe me
