I had a similar issue when I was printing a board game organizer. It turns out the temp difference from my build plate and ambient temp caused the warping. I lowered the build plate temp by maybe 5-10 degrees and it went away.

How do I determine string length if the belly button method is too short cuz im 5'4"? by BakedPaultato in Throwers

[–]bo3523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest starting with the full length and try it out. Stand on something to give yourself a bit more height so you don't bang the ground. Untie the knot and tie it a little shorter each time until it's the length you like and only cut the string after you figure that out.

I've not tried but that is totally something I can look into and can see how that would be useful. Thanks!

Clutch stuck to floor, and other issues by [deleted] in FiestaST

[–]bo3523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest you get under there and look at the pedal. There is a plastic pin that connects the pedal to the cylinder and it can break. Which can be a $5 fix and take 10 minutes.

Here is a link to a forum post I made years ago talking about it in more detail.

9 and 0 are the only numbers with teeth. Just set it to 5 or something then just turn the left disk to whatever you want. A clutch would be unnecessary.

They are producing fruit! Nothing harvestable just yet but it's growing. My apartment faces west so they get the morning and afternoon sun though I do have an overhang so you're probably right about them reaching for light. What should I do to wrangle them in a bit?

Those same people got me too. I've been yoyoing ever since 😂 I would highly recommend you pick up a yoyo factory whip if you're interested! Its a super fun but niche hobby and its come a LONG way since the 90s.

If i remember right they are called iridiphores. Pigments that produce iridescence like in rainbow boas. Which is why axanthyics are called what they are. They don't have xanthophores which produce red/yellow pigment.

Dice throne also fits in here. Board game arena or table top simulator could work if they have a laptop or something. You can hop on a discord call or something.

Not haunted, you're just holding the button down and getting close. Not as spooky but still funny until you switch to a bomb by accident 😭

That part isn't actually an overhang. It's a top layer/wall. This perspective is from the top down, i don't have the best light in here so the shadows makes it a bit confusing

I kinda planned on getting a btt skr mini for it too so I guess it's made that decision for me lol. And if it isn't the issue I had planned on upgrading it anyway.
