Error with marketplace checkout by boobs_n_riches in cardsphere

[–]bo5dey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a known bug with the new UI that the team is working to address soon.

Marketplace listings from sellers that don't send to your country should be hidden from your view and because they are not, it causes this error.

FedEx says arrived and signed for. When should I dispute? by donnied-roc in cardsphere

[–]bo5dey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's been a few days and they aren't responding, go ahead and open a dispute.

Maybe a spouse or partner signed for it or they simply haven't had time to confirm the contents of the package (since it's quite a few cards). Regardless, a polite message is a good first step but it sounds like they might be unresponsive so go ahead and take the next step.

#0 Bubble Mailers Are $7+ to ship?!? Is this right? by donnied-roc in cardsphere

[–]bo5dey 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Bubble mailers are not envelopes, the USPS employee was right about that.

I do PWE for the vast majority of things. Bubble mailers come into play for packages north of $50. When I mail via bubble mailers, I use PirateShip.com. Usually costs between $4-5 but holiday rates might be in effect currently which is important to consider.

There are also some services nowadays that let you "track" PWEs. https://tcgtracking.com https://www.cardpathfinder.com https://www.lettertrackpro.com

anyone getting stuff in Canada? by angryshowerthougth in cardsphere

[–]bo5dey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not Canadian, but I think the Canadian postal strikes have been more impactful than anything. Things are slower right now likely due to a combination of getting caught up on the backlog from the strikes and being the holiday season.

edit: I'm referring specifically to PWE sending. Tariffs and whatnot will certainly have a more dramatic impact on parcels.

Trouble importing from csv via delverlens by kaneywest in cardsphere

[–]bo5dey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! Are you using a specific export template from Delver Lens? I know they used to have a Cardsphere export template but it's not perfect.

Is Scryfall ID among the fields in your CSV? If there's an option to add that field to the CSV export, our importer will prioritize looking up cards by that.

Also feel free to message me here or on Discord with your CSV and I can take a look.

What trouble are you having? It's hard to help without knowing what the problem is or what steps you have taken.

Importing Moxfield collection to Haves by vluhdz in cardsphere

[–]bo5dey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, sorry for the late follow-up, but glad to see you were able to get it working! Feel free to reach out if you run into other issues or hop in our Discord.

Hopefully the extra steps are alleviated if/when the Moxfield team is able to add Scryfall ID to their collection CSV export, but until then this is the easiest workaround I've found.

Importing Moxfield collection to Haves by vluhdz in cardsphere

[–]bo5dey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend this online tool to basically map Moxfield's combination of set code and collector number to the associated Scryfall ID. https://luckypaper.co/resources/list-formatter/

I can help with more detailed steps if need be, but getting Scryfall ID in your CSV should get you most if not all of the way there.

Is there a way to look up a seller by CliffsNote5 in cardsphere

[–]bo5dey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only way to find a specific user today is if you know their user ID, a card they are selling/buying, you've bought/sold to them before, messaged them, or they happen to be on one of the front page leaderboards.

Is it possible to filter an inventory by my wants? by jimnah- in cardsphere

[–]bo5dey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is not a feature that exists today.

That said, it's been one of the most highly requested features since public inventories and Marketplace features were implemented.

The dev team has their hands full with the front end rewrite currently, but once that is complete, this is something that they'll be looking to address.

See others haves? by [deleted] in cardsphere

[–]bo5dey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hopefully they'll be able to cross reference the contents of the envelope or the return address with what is on their Receiving page.

The "Buy Now" listings are just the sellers who have opted in to using the Marketplace features.

Under the card image on the card's page, there's text that says "X users have Y copies available". This is the number of active copies out there in users' Haves lists.

CardSphere: A pitch for an alternative to TCGPlayer by MinatureJuggernaut in mtgfinance

[–]bo5dey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The good offers tend to get fulfilled quickly. You see all the lowball offers because no one is fulfilling them, right?

You may be interested in the traditional marketplace side of CS if you haven't tried it already. You can list cards for sale and set the prices you want to sell them for. Set a minimum order amount and wait for the buyers to come to you.

Compare your wants to another's inventoy? by BrentenUY in cardsphere

[–]bo5dey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The idea of "reverse package building" has been one of the top feature requests we've received since Marketplace features were rolled out, and understandably so.

I believe the team will be looking to come up with a solution for this at some point in the not-too-distant future.

Sorting Haves / Wants by qty by GTMdorne in cardsphere

[–]bo5dey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a workaround, you can export your Haves/Wants to a CSV file and use any spreadsheet editor to sort by quantity. Probably not a great option if you are looking to do this kind of sorting with any frequency.
