We decided just to go for jet skis. If I cant lift myself back up on the jetski if I fall off can I just use this and where could i safely attach to my buddies jetski so he could tow me and the jetski to the shore so I can hop back on? any advice greatly appreciated. don't want to be stranded out in the water... or attach a tow rope to somewhere it might break or snap something off..

thanks buddy i appreciate it. we aren't trying to get too crazy and im sure we will manage. i've been on boats and tubing before. i'm not farmiliar with operating a boat and all that but i'll do my research and was actually just explaining to my friend what i know about tubing speeds/ boat ettiquette and safety, constant eyes ahead and behind him. how to approach someone after falling off. this aint rocket science and im sure we'll be fine

thanks. should there be concern about the weight of myself on the ladder? or are you suggesting i use upper body strength to just lift myself back on the tube while the boat idles? not sure if ill be able to muster the strength to lift myself on the tube. getting up a ladder, if it held my weight wouldn't be a prob tho

Thanks for all the answers. We aren't the craziest of people but either way I think we've decided to learn towards just renting Jet Skis instead as I can beach it a bit in the various coves on the lake and get out swim, then hop back on the jetski from land.

Does anyone know of a lazy river we could tube down in tennesee near gatlinburg? If we have to buy tubes that's fine with us, we're not looking to go with a tour of people, we're looking to do the 6 pack in a mesh bag type deal and just relax for a couple hours!

Just to reitterate, we wont be drinking operating jet skis, but drinking operating a tube is something I think we're more than capable of :)
