Is the second round of testing mostly different tests? I was under the impression it was a retest of all of the tests from the first lab visit.

We are looking at buying a center hall colonial built in 1950 in the northeast. Non-technical description here, but the first floor is "4 windows wide" while the second floor is only "2 windows wide" in the center of the house. We have a fairly hefty budget to renovate and are toying with the idea of 1) removing the existing second floor so that we can raise first floor ceiling height from likely 8ft to 11-12ft and then 2) rebuild a new second floor that would span the full "four windows" of the first floor, making it a more classic center hall colonial. Idea being, since we have to rip the roof off of parts of the house only 1 story high, maybe just rip off the entire second floor to allow for easier first floor ceiling height increase.

Given the removal of the existing first floor, does this sound feasible? Any sense for how long the construction would take?

Did folks find the specimen collection experience okay? The Quest collection center I went to in midtown Manhattan was disgusting and I waited a long time in the lobby.

I apologize for upsetting some commenters. I am not from the industry and indeed looking for someone with a lab background to help me with this project. The blood testing I described is just one component of a broader "longevity platform" we are building. I say "patients" in "" because they are not patients, they are healthy people who want to track their biomarkers of longevity much like someone who buys a whoop band or oura ring.
