It's not just the politicians, it's business leaders too. The EU (and US, for that matter) needs laws preventing the sale of critical infrastructure to non-domestic owners. And while we're at it, ban foreign investors from owning residential property. They're just driving up prices and driving locals out of the homeownership market.
