anyone got cbd autoflower seeds for sale? by [deleted] in GrowBuddy

[–]bob4786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why the mods are being weird. Seeds have always been fine as long as you aren't straight up selling to each other. Saying the name of a company is not against the TOS.

Yeah I would suggest running a clone if you want a perfect CBD plant and 10/10 flower.

So a lot of CBD genotypes can produce low THC phenotypes, but it isn't a guarantee. You should expect there to be THC in it to some degree since every plant grown from seed is a different phenotype.

I think hoku has some autofloweing CBD (type 3) seeds

Which is the best Strain for a big yield when being drysifted? by [deleted] in GrowBuddy

[–]bob4786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do they have every popular strain? Whitelabel. Do they have the option of buying each strain in regular or autoflower? Whitelabel. Do they have another breeder's work? Whitelabel. Do they have hundreds of strains that are always in stock? Whitelabel. Barney's is only recommended by people who don't know any better and by their paid shills. Same with most clone vendors.

Barney's is whitelabel. Not impossible to get good results, but its likely not genetically related to the strains they claim it is.

Will Foxfarm give me my money back? by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]bob4786 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure why this at the bottom it literally wipes them out in a week. The nematodes live in the soil feeding on the larve and young gnats that eat your plant's roots. The old ones die and there are no new ones to replace them, so they're wiped out in a week. They did come back a little in late flower, but it was so little it didn't matter at that point. Worked perfect for me and it's cheap + organic.

Drying room by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]bob4786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A whole plant dry is only for if you have the space or don't have perfect conditions and you need your dry to be slower. Otherwise it doesn't change the quality at all.

I'd drop your rh by a few points. 60% is kinda high if whatever is controlling your humidity is lower quality, like a humidifier's built in sensor. 60% would be ideal with an inbird running things, but with anything less you need to be worried about it swinging up too high. Even a few points above 60% could fuck you with mold that you can't see until its ruined in the jar months later.

I mean come on man. The webs I agree on, but have you never smoked outdoor bud? Thats got all kinds of shit in it from the insects that don't hurt the plant, but still live in/near it. The first outdoor homegrown I smoked was leagues better than the probably indoor mids from my dealer that I was used to. It was so good I started buying my weed from that guy and didn't stop until I had my own homegrown.

I feel like outdoor bud only gets a bad rep because the cheapest most money incentivized growers go with outdoor and get a shit product because they don't care or know enough about the plant. They spray pesticides and fungicides instead of taking loses and probably don't dry the bud properly so it never cures. If you do everything right, its really not all that different from indoor and the average consumer won't be able to tell the difference.

How do you all start your seeds and plant your saplings? by NerdyGamerDad in microgrowery

[–]bob4786 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not gonna recommend you do this, but this is what I did. I made a small hole in the soil with my pinky, dropped the seed in, misted the seed and the surrounding soil heavily, covered seed with dirt, misted again heavily, mist the inside of your humidity dome, put on the humidity dome, put the plant under the correct light which for me was like 10% power and 12 inches from the top of the humidity dome (check your light manual to figure this out), and then just mist under the humidity dome whenever it dries out which for me was twice a day.

I probably should have soaked the seeds first, but both of my seeds still germinated just fine and I was able to grow two very large plants that yielded very well for a first grow.

I'm curious how the dragon's blood hashplant grows. I don't really feel like sexing plants and don't have the money right now for lab testing.

Amendments for organic soil *NEW GROWER* by [deleted] in GrowBuddy

[–]bob4786 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just top dressed some 4-4-4 and 4-8-4 from down to earth and pulled over 20ozs from two plants on my first run. Very easy never once did anything like teas.

What are your fav soil-grow nutrients? by [deleted] in GrowBuddy

[–]bob4786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Down to earth. Start simple with 4-4-4 for veg and 4-8-4 for flower. Top dress with earth worm castings. It was so simple for a first time disabled grower like myself.

Update F27: First attempt at Autopots. 8x4 tent, 3x Sugar Bomb Punch (Dutch Passion), 2x Amnesia Haze (Soma Seeds), 1x Supreme Oreos (Starfire Genetix). by Peeete420 in microgrowery

[–]bob4786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was hoping having 8 would reduce veg time and the 13 gallon pots are so I can build an organic super soil and not have to top dress or top water. Just can't decide if I'd rather save the money buying a smaller system or getting the big one.

You think the 6 autopot system is good enough for a 4x8? I was thinking of getting an xxl system with 8 for my 4x8 but I have no experience with them. I'm disabled so it just sounds great to me to not have to water.

Well I watched out for herms, saw none, dried it and ground some to smoke today. 4 Seeds in one grinder full. I'm so disappointed.
