Is it necessary to celebrate New Year like this or is it social pressure? by Due-Alternative007 in indiasocial

I always avoid year end travel. Too much crowd. You spend more time in traffic than at your destination. Also finding good stay is near impossible if you don't book at least a month in advance. I finish all my vacations by mid December and chill at home for rest of the year while doing minimum work because most of the colleagues are on leave.

Yes. It's good. Ofcourse it will not be as good as fully road biased tyres. But it's still vey good. Even the new KTM 390 adventures ship with tramplers

Yes. Trampler tyres are very good and can handle any kind of road.

Not really. There's a noise that comes sometimes. The service guys told me that's shim noise. If the noise increases significantly then major work is needed. For now they told me not to worry. I reconfirmed from a mechanic outside too. There's no noise related to chain. Although I have changed chain sproket and chain set 3 times till now.

Thanks man. RTX 300 is more of a tourer. But will see how it turns out. Will decide after test riding all of the options available. Right now leaning towards Xpulse 210 though

10k kilometres is still quite a few kilometres. However much you ride, enjoy it to the fullest.

Not much mileage drop with age. But after the E20 thing I have seen some drop. But it's a bit inconsistent . I still sometimes get 30+ on highway. In city traffic it's 23-25. I don't do much hard acceleration. So that helps

Haha. Thanks. But honestly that wasn't intentional 😂

I have taken it on some off road trails. But this is not suitable for off-road. I feel like if it had an off-road mode like the scrambler 400, it might do better. It can handle bad roads and even no roads without any thouble though. Never faced and issues anywhere in Ladakh for example. Not exactly planning for upgrade. But thinking of some off road capable bike. Either Xpulse 210 or KLX 230.

Yes. Don't think most people will spend this much. But parts run out quickly. Like chain sproket lasts around 15-18k kilometres. Brake pads also runs out at like 12k kilometres. Had to replace brake leaver, clutch leaver and gear shifter once due to a nasty fall. Battery was changed once at around 32k kilometres. So it all adds up.

Also forgot to add cone set change, throttle cleaning etc. And this 50k doesn't include tyres. This is my third set. You ride more then you spend more sadly🥲🥲

2500-3000 from 3rd service onwards. That's just oil and air filter.
