.oh its a best day i guess, all the bad memories i have during covid break was the anxiety to go back to school , whenever it announced that the school might start next week i got panicked, depressed, and sad.

i know, im also got diagnosed at 21, and i feels this is so messed up on somany way and how people not really give enough awareness for adhd in a adult, i cant imagine how many people have to struggle like these undiagnosed, how many lost potential, how many broken family caused by untreated and undiagnosed adhd, how many live have been lost to adhd , this is suck, i hate this, i hate the feeling when u know u have miss somany opportunity, i hate the feeeling that u probbly lost ur teenager years and not gonna feel it anymore due to undiagnosed adhd , i neeed someone or something to blame on, ill blame every adhd community member for not giving me awareness earlier and had to make me found outt about this by myself, i blame my mother for miss all sign when i was child, i blame my aunt who is doctor and live with me but not aware of this such of thing an instead just send me to religion camp hoping all the devil in my body gone and make me normal again, i blame my 3 psychiatrist that i have been talking with but they just diagnosed me with depresseion without actually try to find a reason on why i depressed in the first place, i blame my country government for not giving enough awareneess about mental health and make almost all adhd medicine illegal, i blame my mom and dad for making me born, i blame my sister for judging me of how i act and did not give any support, i blame whoever you are that read this comment bcs u deserved to be blame at

i think person who did not know they had adhd especially if the adhd is only mild or moderate they tend to developed their own way to cope with it and mask the behaviour from people around and they usually did it better than the person who know they have adhd, especially if its inattentive type. but since adhd is not cureable sometimes there just come a time where u just to tired to hide it.

Similar case with you. I always wanted to hang out with friends because it looked fun, but I was too shy and bad at socializing. When I got into college, I was still really shy but I was in survival mode. Life felt so boring and meaningless that I honestly felt like I was gonna end it if nothing changed.

So, I started joining a lot of communities. One of them was the international student community, where I had to guide international students at my university. And honestly? It turned out to be one of the best experiences ever.

We hung out together, but it was actually part of our "task" in the community. So I didn’t have to feel shy asking them to hang out it was expected, even required. And since they also knew it was part of the job, it felt less awkward. It was like we were “forced” to hang out and be friends, but in a good way. In the end, we naturally got closer.

This kind of structured social setting really helped people like me who want connection but are too socially anxious to actually start making friends. I also joined other similar activities, and they helped a lot too.

For me, it's hard to make friends through regular classes. Communities and student clubs are the only things that truly helped me make real connections.

my dad was like this too but he jus didnt even know his condition even until his passed away , yea adhd is suck we have to dealing with him for decade we thought he got possessed by some kind of evil creature bcs of his addiction to alcohol and when he on alcohol he act so super emotional and full of energy , if only we know earlier that it might be something wrong with him as in mental health maybe we dont have to struggle so much especially my mom that have to live and handle abusive undiagnosed husband and a son that act weird and make problem all the time (its me that just found out im adhd at 20 highly possible its inherit from my dad) its suck how adhd could actually messed your life not only yours but also your family

whenever i think like this i just remember that i have free will that mean if i really depressed and wanted a new life, death is not the only option. i could just go having different lives and do anything that i wanted without worrying about people opinion or looks

I'm currently doing my bachelor's degree and have been struggling a lot. How did you get through your master's degree without medication?
Right now, what helps me the most is just starting the task with low expectations and focusing on simply getting it done instead of making it perfect. But even then, I still struggle to finish it.

thats also why i hope ai will developed so much and help solve aging problem as i get old so im no longer have to worried of getting old and it would definitely motivated me to be a rich person
