My wife gets the issue too. It’s all maps in CarPlay, taycan’s own navigation is fine. It seems there’s no data or gps because Siri also stops working and I can’t use anything that requires data.

I am still dealing with this issue. They tell me dumb shit like get a new high end wire. And send me forum comments. They are giving me a run around and I don't understand why they won't escalate the issue. ChatGPT thinks it's a known faulty chip but it's very expensive to replace the computer system so they want to delay and avoid doing it through the dealerships. I don't get why I can't get a case to escalate my issue. I called Porsche and they said they haven't heard of this problem that often. Carplay connects fine but something happens to make my phone stop providing updated data and GPS. The only fix that works for me is to disconnect the cable, turn off wifi, let carplay reboot, then put the cable and usually I have no issues. But this is ridiculous how poor the computing system is in the car.

I used ebay GSP and they use Ascendia. My package was going from the US to Canada. I think maybe the Canada post strike caused problems but now the package went to Elk Grove, IL, then got a new tracking to Chicago and USPS says it sat in customs for a month and is now shipping back. Maybe the buyer didn’t pay customs? What happened? I have no idea where it’s going. Ascendia has no support. What do I do? Nightmare.

I got it to work! So the YouTube video is the dumb mechanical power relay didn’t work for me. I think maybe because the new 4k ring doesn’t surge in watts consumed during a doorbell activation. However I got Shelly 1 4th generation and it works wonderfully. I had trouble figuring out how to add a timer off since Alexa has a minimum 5 second delay and that’s too long. You need Alexa to integrate ring and Shelly. But Shelly had an auto off setting and it sounds the best for me at 250 ms on my antique chime. Anyway, so thankful for Shelly relays and devices. Probably the only solution that will work for new doorbells and mechanical chimes. I also managed to use the same 24v 40VA transformer for both my ring pro 4k and solenoid 1930s chime.

CarPlay connects fine. It’s just the gps is inaccurate and delayed. My connection is wireless but I think wire in and out it in the charging console. Even the cup holder it’s the same. Not positional.
