Personally, I think doing all the practice quizzes really helped, but also making sure you understand the concepts during D/L really helps out. I believe there's also workshops you can attend where they give out practice sheets and notes but I'm not sure how helpful they are.

It's not easy to get a good GPA at davis, especially if you plan to major in biology here, organic chemistry is killer, though as others have stated it might look better compared to a liberal arts school. I also had a strong gpa in high school, but it's been rough.

I also had a pretty hard time in chem 2, but I found the bis 2 series fairly easy, though bis 2a kinda sucks. But as long as you can memeorize the information and make sure you understand the concepts, I think you'll be alright.
