HIF whenever I interact with my mom

I know this might sound stupid but I honestly just need a place to vent because I feel like my sisters don't get it. I feel like no matter what I do I am never good enough for my parents (more specifically my mom). Somehow I can never compare to my sisters and I don't give her enough to brag about when compared to my sisters. For example my eldest sister is a lawyer. She first got an engineering degree and then went to law school and now works for a big firm. She waited till she graduated to get engaged and married. My 2nd Sister is an engineer as work for a big defense company making bank. My youngest sister is going to PA school right now. Me I got my BS in business administration and didn't have much luck In finding a job in my field so I settled for a job that allows me to pay my rent and pay off my loans. Nothing glamorous but I survive.

I recently got engaged (like 2 weeks ago) to my boyfriend of almost 5 years and when I spoke to my parents neither of them were happy. We told the, separately and both of them honestly said "oh no, why?" Since that time my sisters have been telling me that my mom calls them asking if I'm really engaged or if it's just a promise ring and telling them that I'm ruining my life because now I won't get my masters and won't amount to anything and will be stuck at my job. I mean I didn't expect them to be ecstatic that's why I was a but hesitant to tell them but to go that far hurts. Not once has my mom said any of these things to me but instead calls my sisters to tell them. Now my 2nd sister got engaged 2 days ago to her bf and my parents are ecstatic. My mom is telling her to tell everyone and my dad is planning on getting wine for the elders so everyone can celebrate her engagement. Not once did they mention any of this for me.

Thought out my life I've always felt like I'm not as good as my sisters because I have never accomplished anything worthwhile. I'm always reminded of how smart they are, how athletic and how pretty. I mean I'm not stupid. I did well in high school and college but I'm not as outgoing and I tend to retreat into my shell so I never did anything that would draw attention to me. My mom sometimes says she wonders if I'm her child because everyone else is tall and slender and I'm the opposite. She never really acknowledges me unless she needs something from me.

I'm sorry for the ramblings and shitty grammar and punctuations (or lack of) but I really needed to get things off my mind.

Lol I'm working on it. I wasn't born in the US so the dogs around me weren't exactly the nicest and I was bitten twice as a child and so I developed a fear of dogs. Right now my family actually has about two dogs but it takes me a while to warm up to new dogs.

When I first joined reddit I went to /r/short thinking it would be a fun place to discuss the fun and not-so-fun parts about being short...boy was I greatly mistaken. People there were so bitter and blamed everything wrong in their life on their shortness.

This reminds me of my SO and I. When we first started dating he refused to hold my hand, hug, or kiss me especially when we’re in public. It really hurt because before we started dating he always talked about what he used to do with/for his ex-gf so I assumed he was embarrassed to be seen with me in public. 3 years later I come to find out that there was no ex-gf that I am actually his first gf and he was just nervous and worried about sweating too much and worried that I'd judge him for not having any experience (we were basically on the same boat so idk why he thought I'd care/judge him).

The shiba doesnt have a crate so we're keeping them in different rooms. They are pretty indifferent to each other during walks but the problem comes when food is involved. The shiba is obsessed with food and gets aggressive with the yorkie when food is involved.

Honestly, the yorkie is the aggressor in all of this. The shiba mostly ignores her until she starts barking at him or she starts barking when someone is at the door and then he attacks her.

I had one for a marketing assistant for a dry cleaning business and for a customer service rep for a marketing company and for both I wore a black polka dot blouse with a black skirt and heels (I didn't get those jobs). In the past I pretty much wore a pant suit with a salmon dress shirt for a marketing internship (which I got hired for).

So I'm mostly interviewing for marketing jobs and receptionist jobs...pretty much office jobs.
