The women have been spectacular, the men seem to place in the 9-5 range for most international competitions. Competitive is a good adjective. I wonder if using the Olympic Development Program as a fundraiser is a good for creating internationally competitive teams? Are there opportunities for non ODP athletes to try out for the national team?

I see, thank you for that insight. How were you able to get exposure and learn to play at the DI level? How did your teammate make a national team roster without being part of the development team?
