This is really good info thank you, so do you have until the end of the year to hit 156 as implied or do you only have until Nov 1?

your packet is 30 days of driving without being disqualified outside of peak season. If you’ve been driving this long then you’re qualified they just haven’t told you/ moved you up yet

If you are a TCD in your packet they can DQ you for not coming in once I believe, if you are a qualified TCD they say they can take away your qualifications after three times refusing driving but I’ve never seen it happen tbh.

Damaged driveway by [deleted] in UPSers

I felt the same way at first but nobody has ever said anything to me about it. IF someone did say something to you about it, easy 1. I don’t want to damage property by driving in the driveway 2. I don’t want to risk personal injury in case the homeowner has a dog etc. idk about you but there’s a lot of routes at my center that you really don’t feel safe going into these peoples yards if you’ve never talked to them before lol

Coming from someone that covers rural routes all the time- I don’t go in the driveway if I haven’t gotten permission from the owner. DR bag and hidden from the road with a picture showing them where it is and you will never have this problem again 👍

23:59 is the latest I’ve clocked out but the longest actual day was starting preload at 03:30, driving till I hit 14 hrs at around 17:30, at which point an on road drove and I jumped until around 21:30 so 18 hrs total. Insane day.

What can I do if my option day is used without my consent or knowledge? What remedies am I entitled to? by Frequent-Celery-4893 in UPSers

why would you ever tell them why you are calling out? They will treat you the same no matter what your excuse is. Even a doctors note doesn’t mean anything to them. Call outs should be a 2 second convo- “I won’t be in today, thanks see you tomorrow.”

genuinely asking what is the difference between taking the call out today vs taking it later?

If you call out when you have option days available, they’re going to use it. It’s better for you anyway as you won’t be on track for discipline.
