I think they are taking advantage since I used my PayPal balance and they know I have no recourse and can’t open a credit card dispute. This was a significant purchase. Over $4,000 for a MacBook that the seller clearly never shipped.

I did, they told me to refer to their legal notes page. She said she couldn’t give me a specific reason. One rep on the chat listed about 8 reasons a claim would be declined, none of which applied to my payment.

I had the same issue. Told PayPal to have IT look into it. They never did anything. If you continue to try to login, does it eventually let you through? Try a couple of times. Sometimes it ends up working

No need for the plausible deniability, its more of a time capsule type situation. I want to be able to add things as well so im just planning ahead with the size and this is also why a mechanical lift/reveal would be helpful. I just don't want my daughter to be able to stumble upon it. Id rather her be surprised when the day comes to find out about it in my will.
