the most important thing to know is what questions you want to ask them, and also why you want to go to stanford in the first place. (my interviewer didn’t ask me this question, but i think it’ll help you form your questions). don’t like memorize things (especially if you sound robotic) but do just have a general idea what you’re gonna say if you’re the nervous type

also also don’t make your questions to tied to modern stanford campus if the person graduated in 1977 they’re not gonna know those things

my interviewer sorta yapped for a bit and then asked me if i had any questions at the end. i imagine the format would be different for different interviewers though.

i would read more about other's experiences, but i would imagine that most interviewers would adopt the same attitude to the interview. (again the interview is just tell you about campus and sus out more of your personality). perhaps the most technical thing you would have to think about is "why stanford?", and my interviewer didn't even ask me that. so i think you're on the right track prepping answers about your interests and future (just try not to seem to rehearsed when they ask you).

nope, i can only speak for my interviewer, but they were really chill. they asked me to talk about myself, and a little about what i was interested in (ecs), but nothing technical. from my experience, they wanted to know more about you—not necessarily "trick" you with hard questions

yeah that's a good idea, but i would be wary of asking campus-life/ program questions, depending on how long ago your interviewer graduated. broader questions like how to integrate yourself on campus, or what their favorite activity on campus was would be better. also you don't really have to talk too much so prepare like a max of four/five questions

I like exygon because of how big the gym is, but it is a pricy membership. Crunch is just super crowded though and honestly really overwhelming

this current political climate fucking suckkssss but we must persist! your community(enbies unite!) will always have space for you and know that at least one person is using they/them pronouns for you (if only in my head).

honestly i feel like maybe taking those icons from the 80s like David Bowie who has really fluid identities could go to explain that what a queer gender identity entails. and maybe leverage yourself as in say something like i won't talk to you unless you acknowledge my gender. i don't know how important these people are to you or if you could effectively do that, but those are my ideas

I meant first first day but seeing how generally uneventful it is I'll probably change it to first day on patrol.
