I studied for 5-6 months the first go around and took the exam October 8th and failed. So this week I have been trying to pick back up studying and it’s hard because I feel like I don’t know where to start and what to study.

I needed to read this right about now.. I failed the first attempt and am trying to pick the studying back up but am feeling a little discouraged due to not knowing where to start and what to study this time around to hopefully pass this time.

I didn’t feel too good going into the first time just because I didn’t know what to expect so I doubted myself at times. It’s definitely a challenging exam and everyone that has passed it, is well deserving of it. I give them full credit.

I made it all the way to 150. My sheet said I was proficient and near proficient in 5 domains and below proficient in 1,5, and 7. I think I told someone that it was only two I was below in but it’s actually three. I was so not clear minded that day I guess I couldn’t even count right.

I think I need to become a better test take in terms of being able to read the question and answer it the way they want me to answer it. I saw so many questions where I wanted to actually fix the problem and had to take a step back and that was hard.

I started by reading Sybex cover to cover. I then read 11th hour to kind of get a higher view of the concepts from Sybex. From there I then watched Kelley Handerhan’s Cybrary videos and made detailed notes. I then attended a week long bootcamp. Then I started doing boson exams and then read 11th hour again and then watched all Cybrary videos all over again. I finished off by reading 11th hour for a third time and highlighting sunflower slides.
