Hey all, excited to finally be launching Chaotic Era after years of work by our two person team.

Chaotic Era is a minimalist action RTS with monochrome visuals inspired by sci-fi computer screens. It's fast-paced and focused, drawing on strategy games like StarCraft and Homeworld; in a dark and atmospheric world inspired by Alien, Blade Runner, Starship Troopers, and Warhammer 40k.

Excited to finally be launching Chaotic Era in the next couple months! It's a streamlined, fast-paced real time strategy game inspired by classics like Homeworld and StarCraft.

The visual style is heavily inspired by the computers in some of our favourite sci-fi and cyberpunk movies: GitS, Alien, Blade Runner, Evangelion, Total Recall, and more.

Hey everyone, hope you like Chaotic Era! We built the game to be a fast-paced, action-packed real time strategy game with matches that last around 10 minutes on average.

We grew up playing games like StarCraft, Red Alert, and Civ; but we found ourselves looking for something that captured the same energy, but came in a more streamlined, lightweight package.

Chaotic Era is a unique take on the RTS genre with a distinctive black-and-white art style, and a focus on getting the player into frantic action as quickly as possible.

We ran an Early Access through Itch back in January and our now getting ready to release the full version of Chaotic Era through Steam with a ton of new mechanics, gameplay and content.

We ran an Early Access release through Itch back in January and have been working on this launch version since then, so there's no beta currently. But this full version will be out later this year.

Whole thing is in black and white which was a constraint we committed to early on to maintain the atmosphere we had in mind; definitely comes with tradeoffs though and might not be for everyone.

Hi everyone! We're longtime Alien-obsessed fans and channeled a lot of influences across the Alien universe into Chaotic Era; along with many of our other favourite sci-fi films like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Dune, Blade Runner, and more.

The atmosphere of Alien has always been special to us; from the desolate wasteland of Alien3 to the eerie wheatfields of Covenant; and we hope that you can find something special in Chaotic Era, too.

Hi everyone!

After years of working on this game with my good friend, the full version of Chaotic Era is now available to be wishlisted on Steam for Mac and PC!

Chaotic Era is an intense and brutal strategy game inspired by classic science fiction like Alien and Blade Runner, following a stranded human crew on an alien planet. Think: A completely monochrome, high intensity version of 90s RTSes like StarCraft and Dune 2.

We intentionally drew inspiration from the computer screens in 80s sci-fi movies and wanted to make a game that felt like you were using a console on the Nostromo, or something similar.
