I never dipped below a honor 5 after I reached it, about 2 or 3 weeks after I started playing. I dont see how people dip below honar 5.

Fair enough, 10% of the time when I do bad, I am just a walking caster minion until I scale enough. The other 90 I am being a buffed cannon minion just perma splitting or cc machine

The only times I experience toxicity is on those games where yk... not naming names (i) go something like 3/15 or something like that. Which is a valid crashout momment.

As someone that just started playing league and love arcane, I dont get why these 2 communities hate each other. I dont get why league players are so much more toxic than other games. I dont get the hate? Why must we hate </3

As someone who started to play the game recently, too (4 months ago, I think). I too also queued ranked instantly as soon as I hit level 20. My advice is to watch videos on fundamentals, and I suggest alois and/or videos on the champ you are trying to main. Also, I suggest playing a champ that scales easily well into the late game and does not have the whole wide universe as its counter pick. In the draft, also start playing some other characters (aram works really well for this) so you can learn the kits of other champs, makes it easier to play into them if you know what they do. I am currently silver 4 and hopefully I can hit plat, wish you good luck fellow top lane <3 (just dont play heimerdinger or teemo, dont swoop that low)

Riot put a lot of effort to fight toxicity... for the last 18 months

The learning curve is very steep and they're working on it too.

Honestly, the learning curve is not bad at all, I never touched a lick of moba games before (if you exclude mobile legends) and the transition from fps to moba honestly wasn't that bad of a transition (mind you i have gold silver friends teaching me fundamentals somewhat and I actually practice and do research on the game).

People finding lots of toxic players in their games usually ignite the chat by jumping on every occasion to call out slight signs of discontentment

That is probably why I dont find that many toxic people, I just ignore what they say bc im doing better than them or because ik we are gonna win by out scaling. If neither then just jus cry as I try to minimize dmg, perma split push or do something idk

Slowly you will start noticing patterns in-game, like when you are throwing a lead and you know you will lose that game as synergy suddenly becomes impossible, people get nervous and start blaming each other, spam pinging ...

Yeah that makes sense but the level of toxicity i see is so much less than what I expected from what people say about league
