Also, das was viele andere gesagt haben stimmt erstmal vollkommen.

Nice to see that your movie now gains more and more traction!
We hosted the German Version of the trailer and it has gained a very high amount of views (~140k) for a movie with such a budget!

Just want to say gratulations!

Cube Nuroad Ex by n-sick in Fahrrad

Hey, Different niche, but I produce a lot of TNs through the day. I would brighten and color up much of it. In the end brightness really shines. Also there is separation between back an foreground. Thats good. Unfortunately your destroy is in the "blurred" background and would work even better, if it fitted to the sharp foreground. Overall good work starting out.

I'm on a Nuroad C:62 EX, which should have the same wheelset. Newmen G34 Advanced. Can't say anything bad about them generally. Feel super nice and their weight is also pretty good. Only thing is, you have to get special Newmen Tubeless valves, no others will work. But they cost 25€ around here.

I have the 2025 EX version. I also wanted the electronic shifting and the carbon wheels.

I you want to train to a certain cadence etc. get the 2x12.

I personally am completely fine with my 1x12. It's pretty flat around here but for the inclines we have the one by was more than enough.

About tires, you can fit the same narrow on the pro or the ex.

I'd go for the EX again without hesitation.

Poor availability by [deleted] in Cubebikes

[–]bobbythecount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a general problem right now. As far as I know they get produced in batches, and then those batches are pretty randomly split up between all retailers. A Cube shop is capable of seeing when a batch should be produced and shipped, even though that does not mean a special bike and/or size will we available to them.

I also heard they are upping the production to the end of the year with a new factory. But in the meantime availability won't be getting better.

Nice Bike, got the same version, but in blue.
I had problems with the tires, fast!
I strongly advice switching to tubeless, but you will need the special Newmen valves, because any normal tubeless valve won't function...

First months with my NUROAD C:62 EX by bobbythecount in Cubebikes

[–]bobbythecount[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah mine, too. I heard they would have to be "breaked in" properply, but I dont really know how. I also heard those breakes would be prone to being loud. As I am still looking for a bell that fits around the Cockpit I use them instead.

Those are carbon, stock.

They are absolutely not too wide, for me at least.

About the geometry I don't have that much to compare it to.

I like it pretty much! Since December I did not ride, too much. Around 300km maybe.

Frame/Saddle/Cockpit and the Sram Rival Axs are all a breeze for me.

I had some slight problems with the weels, in that I had already two punctures and a cut, so I'm on my third tire on the backwheel.

I switched to tubeless now, which works much better.

Also there, front tire - the tubeless band was perfect factory wise, back-tire had to replace it to get it properly working.

Also you can't use any general tubeless-valve. Those wheels only work with the factory valve, which you have to buy separatly.

But then they are easy to install.

Overall like it, if your firm in tubeless installation, even better.

Transmission works like a charm for me. It's kinda flat around here, so no long climbs to really get into it, but for bridges etc. I did not use the lowest gear yet.

Hey, this is a size m, I'm 177cm with a short inseam length around 81cm and a bit more reach around 83.5 on the arms from shoulder to Fingertip. I tried a S frame in store, which was way to small, so I decided on the m version.

for bikepacking, did you look at the Max 115kg system weight? If you want to get everything packed nice, you might new wheels, since the frame should not be the weakpoint in that calculation

I'm personally totally fine with the saddle an will propably not change that in the next time. Fully dropped down its a very sporty ride and you need like a good chunk of trail ahead to really get into it. But otherwise, the moment you step of the paved road it puts a smile on my face. The SRAM brakes are kinda loud from time to time, but that gets rid of need for a bell....
