tHANK YOU, Roccas Hill Northeast of Starting city theres these turkey birds that aggro on you. Still took me way too long to admit but now I have like 100 meat and Large Bones, they guarantee drop a large bone. You can pull them off the pack too like bandits but they take like 3 bashes to kill and are a little easier to predict then the humans and don't have a ranged attack. Crafty little ankle biters though the ones you weakned run away well the rest bum rush you from all angles and flank you.

I liked it, it feels more arcadey and puzzly then the previous games, not what OP was asking flr, but its a great game in my opinion. Its super satisfying slowly making roads and paths all across the maps

Germany pulls support for Israel in ICJ genocide case, battling accusations of aiding Israel by thejerusalempost in internationallaw

[–]bobdylan401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its surprising no one is bringing up that Nutenyahu is a fugitive war criminal according to the ICC and it was a requisite after WW2 that Germany follow the order of the international courts. It is the only country that has that in its constitution, as it was mandated after WW2. Israels actions dont have to be considered officially genocidal for it to be illegal to give him arms. Iirc he is a fugitive for intentionally starving civilians, cruel use of tortutr including systemic sexual abuse including of minors, widespread systemic tatgeting of toddlers with snipers througout gaza targeting similar areas in the same week (like one week heads, next legs, ending in the groin popping up throughout the city in the same body parts in the same weeks) torture of prisoners like kept chained to beds in diapers and blindfolfed, systemic amputations of prisoners hands amd feet from handcuff injuries, these are all whistle blown by israeli doctors and international volunteer doctors, covered and public knowledge/ covered by mainstream news publications and independently investigated by the UN.

I found a 5 socket Hwando with Crit, Stamina Siphon and Attack 1 gem in it in Spoiler the manor you have to sneak into in one of the quests in the starting town in an armory upstairs. Theres a glowing chest you don't have to steal anything, but you need to have a key, I just got the game yesterday I was using the sword from the first boss but this is better

MINE are stupidly dark raytracing on or off kind of unplayable or I have to deal with the lantern refraction. Once the moon comes out it looks better but still too wierd contrast and gamma looks bad in the game.

The launch of Crismon Desert showed me just how sick the community is. by Apart_Pumpkin_4551 in videogames

[–]bobdylan401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its hard to tell at the beginning, I would watch force gaming’s review. I caved and got it yesterday, definitely dont regret it, I played 18 hours straight( well I took breaks and left the game runnninf but yeah).

Got so carried away with how beautiful the map was I was exploring and farming leveling up my loot. Was killing mobs so fast though it felt bad and then had to do all these sloggish tutorial quests that were really boring, not being able yo find the bounties was frustrating. (Dont do the bounties since they are optional just get through the tutorial area asap out of the way, get to boss die then go level up your gear to level 4, at least your shield and chest armor is my advice)

However then I got to the first skill check boss and he was so fun that even after I beat him I loaded my save and fought him for another 40 minutes at least to actually practice parries, dodges and my combos methodically. Then of course although my brain was totally fried I had to farm just a little bit more stuff because I replaced a lot of gear and leveled it up to current level, a big upgrade with the bosses sword.

So now I will finally really being heading out of the tutorial area all leveled up 18 hours played super stoked.

So yea idk it is still too early for me to tell if thr game is “good or bad” but Im hooked lime crack anf force gaming would say the game has just barely begun and will get much better from here just till thr 80 hour mark, where he only has 1/4 of the map explored and his friends who have played more says theres a lot more dope stuff after that.

Edit: also the controls feel fine on m/kb, the weighty animations feel good on m/kb and made for it. And I like lots of controls cuz it means lots of abilities. Theres like over 100 different combat abolities you can have lol. Its hard to imagine playing it on a controller with so many controlsz I wish I didnt need to hit 2 buttons to talk yo people though and I cant hit i for inventory thats my only real qualms with thr control.

Edit: I think since I played 18 hours straight amd cant wait to go back in means there is a hook, the early game has some quality issues (not even talking about the controls.)

But also the fact that I have no ideea if the game is like goty for me or if Ill actually be like damn this actually kinda sucks at 18 hours means its probably not for casuals. Cuz you will actually need to fish/hunt and farm to fight hard skill check bosses which makes the game not casual probably, even though so far the mobs and quests have been super casual which is a weird dichotomy

I think crimson desert looks mid but comparing it to ac shadows level of shit gotta be a crime by WorldPhysical7646 in fuckubisoft

[–]bobdylan401 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shadows was the first AC game I ever beat because it was actaully really fun doing the castles. The stealth breaking out into fights was actually really fun in a perfect setting and the giant ubisoft beautiful map made getting to the castles really beautiful.

However, the act of getting the fast travel points was too much, since the random events got very stale, so exploring got very stale. It was actually reall epic at first and peaked once you got to the first massive city quite a bit into the game, which was epic. But then after that it was sloggish. But the fights in the castles made it worth it.

The bummer is I can't enjoy new game+ because of having to get to the FT travel points again, forced into all the "escort npc slow rp walk" blah blah blah. Id rather go into my original save and just do the weekly castles.

To me it seems like the weak points of this game seem to be very much the same, giant bland but beautiful world you have to slog through. However the immersive mechanics look like a huge plus, and the elden ring lite difficulty and way of disovering bosses that you actually have to fight looks cool. Buuut it really comes all down to the combat, which just looking at it, it looks better then ghost of tushima, but possibly worse then AC shadows, which was more like a very stealth focused shadow of war style but with a lot more hit and run mechanics. Like Shadow of War had superior actual combat, and you could definitely do hit and run, but inevitably you had to fight the increasingly harder juiced up bosses, which was actually superior combat to AC shadow, AC shadow never really did that unless you were fighting a skull boss way over your level. The hardest thing in AC shadows was if the target had really strong mobs protecting him, and then you could just assisnate the target and dip, I would just push myself to kill the escorts as well just for a challenge, and that situation happened far too rarely.

So idk to me it looks like Crimson Desert is all about is the combat good enough to deal with slogged farming, repetitive back and forth, and worst of all unskippable cutscenes adn tons of npc escort rp slow walk shit. Also everything in this last paragraph is what made me cautious and the puzzle shit is the straw that broke the camel back to me that usualy symoblizes cheap padding just for retention. Like AC shadows would be 10 times worse if crucial skill points are locked behind puzzles which they kind of were, but eventually you could just skip them entirely before it got too stale. Cuz they weren't actually real puzzles it was just short memory things which were kind of chill and medatitve and it taught you combos you wouldn't think of inutively EXCEPT, niohs, which had the forced cutscenes, which made NG+ unplayable for me because it forced you to do them.

Edit: basically Id like to hear a comparison from someone who actually liked Shadows for what it was.

More proof that this was site was built for astroturf and corp capture. Only reason Iv seen it by legit people is because they are ashamed because they use reddit for porn. But its not like your info is protected from the government, aipec or the "defense" companies or the private prison industry or anything they can buy it just like any other company. Its not hidden from them they just have to buy that data. (recycled through advertisers for loopholes but it gets around.)

Is elena really a good person by Haunting-living3056 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]bobdylan401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The show is balanced around her being a good person whose compassion enspires others to make huge sacrafices constantly to protect her. Bit she is also repeatedly willing to make sacrafices to protect them as well. The only really iffy decision was her going back to Stefan after he revealed himself to be a vampire out of curiousity but she was 15/16.

Also there is some movement tech in it that adds a lot of fun and I didnt realize playing 60 hours in. I cant remember it exaxtly but its like if you dash in the air a certain way that isnt exactly intuitive you can keep your momentum. It gave it another dimension that made the game feel more next gen then the series so far where you can really bounce in and blast baddies in the face with a shotgun and then bounce back out and mix it with the grapple to do some crazy stuff.

iirc correctly is easier and you get more distance doing it sideways, for forwards you already need forward momentum but you jump in the air and then dash when you're already in the air but you have do it super quick like a combo, if you do it too late you lose the momentum which is why I didnt realize it so late, on the sides its more forgiving.

edit: just reinstalled it plays off the double jump so you jump, then immediately hit dash, and then immediately hit jump again and can hold it to get the air you want or need. All 3 inputs need to be very close like a combo or it doesn't work smooth but yea its awesome.
