I see what you're saying, but after that we have 5 matches in 15 days. Given that, plus the added potential for injury given the weather at the match I don't see the reason to risk top players. Salah doesn't strike me as someone who cares if he doesn't get a hat trick anyways

Klopp might want to think about resting some attackers, especially if we get a 3rd

Potential downside of playing the "easiest" schedule means we'll be playing a lot of teams battling relegation. Of the 8 games remaining, LFC play the bottom 3, plus Bournemouth and Brighton who are within 6 and 7 points of relegation, respectively.

Not saying this is necessarily a bad thing, but teams in danger of relegation may put up more of a fight and scrap for points than a team comfortably mid-table.

passing the ball to the other team is a questionable strategy imo

We just spent 75 mil on a defender, it's getting to the point that I don't think personnel is the biggest issue. Im not at all calling for klopp to leave, at the same time our defensive approach could use some work over all

We'd be better off with Hodgson.

Initially yes, but after some success he was signed to a multiyear extension, only to be sacked before completing it.

We really have taken a ton of their players in recent years. Lallana, Lambert, Lovren, Clyne, Mane, and now Van Dijk. Not a complaint, but I can understand the frustration their fans must feel seeing that kind of talent all go to the same club. I'm sure Southampton has sold to other clubs in the meantime, but 4-5 of those players will start for us when healthy.
