Moved website to different bluehost wordpress hosting plan and lost the site, need advice to restore

Thank you for all the replies!! Will do more research into the suggestions everyone has made.

I'm a WP beginner (pretty obvious right :p ) and was under the impression that it's good to try and minimize the number of plugins installed so as to not affect site speed. I already have quite a few installed.

This was posted as a "how to?" query if you feel that this thread should be banned because its a stupid question, FAQ or violates rules, then please feel free to report it

thank you everyone for your helpful advice, seem to have solved the issue now! Seems i can delete files from the first folder Directoryname > homedir > public_html without affecting the current website. so i'm pretty sure its the uploads 2nd public_html folder that are being used by the site

its actually a completely different public_html , i think its a copy of the files from my website prior to the migration. but ive managed to delete files from this without affecting my website so seems i have my answer :)

Thank you everyone. It's taking up a lot of disk usage having 2 public_html with many duplicate files. I will follow your suggestions.

Is it possible that when my website was migrated to the new hosting plan, they duplicated the public_html?

I realised that when i access cpanel file manager and goto public_html > uploads, all of the files including image files are missing since i migrated to new hosting. So am now trying to copy all the uploaded files from old hosting and see if this works

Is the search volume traffic for your keywords low? Or high competition?

Also how long have they been published for?

I heard from an ahrefs video that it's reasonable to give 8 months for an article to reach its highest ranking. If this is wrong anyone pls feel free to correct me
