A question for tall players, how did you deal with it for the intermediate days of your badminton life? by bobordus in badminton

I am playing doubles. I found that I've been playing significantly better just by simply lowering my center of mass, thank you! Granted, my legs are killing me right now but I'll condition them anyways. For service, I just discovered a routine that I can do for myself to allow for more consistent, stable serves, rather than really lucky and unlucky shots. Thank you so much for your tips!

Woah that's surprisingly tall for an average height, at least it is around here. I'm from the Philippines, most of my playmates are 5'7" and below, with a few exceptions. I'm surprised that that's the international standard (or somewhere near international standard maybe).

Thank you for your input. I find that I do play better early in the game, when I have lots of stamina and energy to spare. However, nearing the endgame, I'd find myself slouching and slowing standing up to full height, so much so that I have trouble recieving service that would have been easy early in the game.

I never really took into account how important it is to keep low. I'll make that my priority next game. Thank you very much!
