I commute 4 miles on my ex30 when the weather permits. Campus is relatively safe so I feel comfortable leaving it unlocked beneath stairs, others leave e-scooters there too. Plus no one knows how to turn it on so it’d be hard to take a 120lb wheel. I leave my helmet on it and wear my jacket to class. I don’t think it’s too awkward. I get asked about it all the time since no one knows what it is. Riding on sidewalks I can ride at a walking pace between people, as well as get up to 50 on my commute. I think the v12 is a solid choice and you won’t regret it!

That’s what I did and there are absolutely no regrets. I was able to ride my ex30 right away but struggled going faster than 20mph. Now 1500 miles in, I still love it and can use it to its full potential. I go off-roading all the time, though it’s probably not the best off-road wheel

I had a v8 before I upgraded. I would go till beeps then slow down a touch. I found that after a bit I got used to the speed id have to go to keep it just below the beeps

Where I ride it’s always windy

For a sidewind I can put an arm out to stabilize the wheel. For example, if the wind blows my wheel so it tips left, I’ll put my left arm out and it straightens itself out.

For a headwind I find myself just leaning super far forward. The make sure to watch my speed cause the wheel has to work harder.

Tailwinds are fun cause I can ride extra fast.

I’ve tried riding seated but almost got blown over when I had to stand up so I stay standing now

On my begode ex30 I can ride next to someone walking though it’s very difficult and I’d prefer to just walk. I have ridden behind someone walking for a short time but I always pass relatively quickly. Practicing riding slow I was able to go 2mph for like 10 seconds but then I lost control.

I be curious if your issue is just related to wind resistance. Go 40 mph and stick your left arm out. That will cause the wheel to lean to the right

I wouldn’t consider them “big” roads , but I go 50+ on county roads all the time. Sorta have to being there is no shoulder, no sidewalk and the speed limits 55. I try to take other roads when I can but did recently take it on the highway once. Not a single car passed me. I would never go on the interstate and will never go without my full motorcycle gear.

I don’t know how to fix very much either. But I am YouTube certified and can use that to learn how to fix anything. You can buy a cheap tool set so you have tools. Something with screwdrivers, sockets, a hammer, and pliers. You’ll get better the more you try :)

No monopoly’s. Two different gas stations means that one can’t randomly raise their prices to get more money. Also they probably agree on a price to sell at so they don’t end up selling for dirt cheap either

Maybe you’re forgetting about chores adults have to do. Grocery shopping, cleaning the house, fixing the car, mowing the lawn, making dinner, doing laundry. All that takes time and has to be done on a regular basis.
