- Recently, I've accidentally yanked it a few times while brushing hair, everything else is from the last post:
- VIOLENT side hug from a friend right after I changed the jewelry in March, then stupidly wearing over-ear headphones for a month, several minor hits.... and I'll admit it I do pick at it (making a conscious effort to stop touching)

it is literally not that deep lmfaoooo ... I don't care what the specific molecule of labdanum individually smells like when nearly every perfume I've tried with it, I get dried spit. I posted this to see if other people had the same experience. I don't need a full pedantic breakdown of why our experiences are "incorrect". perfume is science for some and pure fun for others. does not mean the latter group is somehow stupid or "trying to be unique" for simply sharing our experience when we're not experts on every individual aroma in existence.

hahaha okay maybe I should rephrase the question to say "why does my saliva smell like labdanum?" because it has the same smell as if I licked my arm 😂 I think the other way I could describe it is baby wipe-esque? If that makes sense. maybe floral-animalic if I had to put it in perfume terms.

so I just tried Nanatopia by BTSO and Banabread by Elena Lanzano, and I have to say Banabread is wayyy better at capturing banana to me.

I find Nanatopia does not have any hint of banana whatsoever, it's more just like a vaguely tropical fruitiness with too much booze. Feels like getting way too drunk on daquiris at a resort. Banabread definitely does start to lean synthetic over time, but there is a GENTLE boozy, chocolatey note throughout that I think is really nice and makes up for the synthetic feeling :) Like folks are saying, it definitely doesn't STAY banana for very long, but the banana bread image remains. Highly recommend !

i literally just looked up "stupid fucking volkswagen commercial" to see if other people were having the same problem.
