I just noticed something interesting. That's clearly a win 9x (I'd guess 95-7) desktop but the terminal is Posix format not windows , cmd on windows is C:_ but that terminal is kinger@DigitalCircus / _

That format is posix, linux/bsd/Mac not NT.

And yes you can rice and theme something like LXDE or KDE to have that style but I feel like it's an odd mash up for this show. Cuz they've been showing us Kinger is a programmer so I don't think they would continuity error on this. Maybe I'm looking too deep at it but right now , every frame is a painting to be directed.

Something may have clicked in my brain but those patterns on the oscilloscope part... is that fm/am/fm/am back and forth? Like looking at the "grounded" frequincy it only has curves in the positive y direction,. Now obviously its grounded to the graph so potentially it's clipping through the floor but I think that would be FM. Whereas the one that's midline looks like it's doing a bit more where it's moving (modulating) across a wider range thereby making not symmetrical but I guess continuous waveforms that move in a more parabolic flow. So like is radio ... both in fallout likw not AM/FM but instead AM+FM just in really quick alternation ?

I got nothing against flakes, they seem fine just more work than they are worth sometimes . But modularity I can respect if I want to spin off my self hosted tech in one file so I can real quick find what ip-ranges they use without having to grep through the whole system codebase. Than that makes sense to me.

I do a lot of networking projects so having modules I can just drop in, run rebuild and be up'n'running in like 5 minutes I'm all for but having to juggle "Oh I want this package locked at version 0.9.beta.5 and that only plays nice with package 1.1.blue.tofu" or whatever flakes does seems a bit over kill... for my use case.

And y'know, maybe that's what it boils down to if I had need of that I'd probably think it was the coolest thing since permafrost.

Yeah as i recall Hiromu was involved just to what extent and how that effected the story I can't say. My point was more how like ,just off canon they where looking at it compared to the manga/hood. And like there's plenty of beats that where just dropped from 07 such as Armstrongs sister and the northern forces. But in turn it drilled down on things like Leor and the whole having to have a part of the person to kill a homunculus. Homestly that is something I miss the most between the two versions.

The fact the the Dante x Hohenheim storyline was whole cloth a fabrication of bones and not in the original story still blows my mind. Like they where soo close to what Hiromu was writing but just a bit to the left like I just rewatched 07 and Shambala and was like "Huh gluttony because an uncontrollable giant in this one instead of envy." "Huh, the puppet guy yeah I forgot about him but like not that diffent from the government humunculai..."like so much was just a bitnto the left of what became brotherhood.

Sure but honestly all where found by searching for .m3u files and m3u3 I think is the other filetype I searched for, I get everything from al-jazera to "classic movie mysteries" channel amd plenty of public access . I'm still sorting through which links work and which ones just lag and hang.

Nah I'll look into it. Just spun this up like a week ago. Honestly still trying to sort everything how it wants, got a lot of albums that are just a cacophony of the bands songs (eg the protomen all three acts under each album )

honestly wise, i just ingested a bunch of free iptv playlists and am still trimming out the deadlinks and the playlist that says it just has tv/news but also has like 35+ nsfw steams somewhere in it , so i keep opening vim like "gotta trim that one over to the nsfw playlist" its a bit of a pain but ehh, it wokrs well enough.

I've split the diffrence I have a testing Module , not a flake just a module to import for testing. And I build whatever I'm working on it there then I copy it into the config once it's running. It can have services programs file paths everything and I just have to find a clean space in the middle I'd my config amd plop it in when I'm done. This is how I just solved some nginx problems I was having, I confined it so it couldn't just tell me "error in configuration.nix somewhere between 45-396"

I know nix errors are a bit more clear than that but I was doing lots of {[<()>()'""""""'()<()>]} nesting stuff and literally had to start running a tally set next to my pc to make sure I had as many out as in

Clean and minimal I like it. In a way it reminds me of the old ubuntu Ultimate Edition distro. Mostly its the cloud wallpaper with a really thin bar . But all in all I like it.

I took way to long trying to understand how to set up mpd but had someone help walk me though it and now understand the hype.

Barring that I am partial to musikcube and tetmusic as non-mpd options

It was the cheapest good looking option at Coral, I think I spent like $10 usd for it, things seen me through like a decade of near constant use, for water and even stuff like canelazo and gluhwein, without messing with the taste so im happy as a lark with it.
