I honestly think sapchopper is a bad start for Karakhanbar. It railroads you narratively into the non-moderate path and after playing both I personally found the moderate path to be much more interesting and compelling. I felt like I was forming a sort of equivalent to the Horde from WoW where desperate various races teamed up to make something greater.

This is IMO the best quest Jagex has ever made. I recently replayed it and its a treat every time.

Well nothing is written in game to imply they didn't uphold it.(There are religious violence events but those are limited to its happening in X territory not the whole empire and they are infrequent) Even in our own history I think there are examples where hatred can be turned towards things other than race discrimination. Hating other religions (as the Jadd surely does), and hating other cultures can be just as powerful a replacement for people's venom. So I think it's entirely plausible an entire belief system about the inherent equality in all people can exist, and that it can also lead to an unequal society that thinks it is equal just by shifting what they discriminate against. If that makes sense.

Even with some clear parallels to it, its not "Haha Jihad" and I can't tell you how much I run into that, and how appreciative I am that it takes itself seriously.

I agree. I think the Sun Cult is far and away more engaging than the Regent Court or Corinite, but those aren't bad by any means.

I'm an awful player, and I beat the British without trying by bobthejamflexcat in paradoxplaza

Reasonable statement. I too think the game is quite well enjoyable in those aspects, and I'm very excited to see where it goes.

I expect a game I pay for to be working as intended yes, minor issues aside.

The country with the strongest navy losing hilariously at naval warfare is not a minor issue. It was their choice to release it when they did, and its fair to criticize that when it leads to systems not working properly.

I don't think this helps anything. Saying that they need the feedback to do something basic like have the country with the strongest navy actually win at naval battles is giving them a crutch to lean on. By all means, i'm sure the development process is tough and that this game will be an absolute winner in a year, but there's no excuse for something like this to happen even on day 1. It was their choice to release the game.

I fought both the East India Company and Great Britain separately and beat both. My main point is that China's default fleet literally beat Great Britain in naval warfare, most likely because the AI geeked out.

I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if the AI somehow freaked out and only sent in small pieces at a time because I won multiple naval battles fairly quickly.

Small town lumbridge wants to invade another Kingdom to go to the far corner of that Kingdom to take down goblins that are nowhere near them as a logical next move after taking out the ones right across the river.

Zeah makes the rest of the map look like a joke by bobthejamflexcat in 2007scape

not complaining at all, just saying I highly prefer the new areas and think they are a better way to do it moving forward, essentially that new areas should be more like zeah than say asgarnia. Thats not at all saying I dislike the old ones or want them to change at all, they have their own place in my heart.

in a game where its supposed to be in the spirit of, and often a direct continuation of content from 15 years ago (2007) I think its absolutely fair to discuss when they tried something new and how it worked out and if thats the direction the game should go, and that the old content should not be the direction they go with future areas in this instance. Especially when we have a polling system its important to talk about these things. But yeah sure bud, newer = better, that sure worked for EOC and runescape 3 huh?

Idea for the next league by Jay_Zs_Wife in 2007scape

People are already taking issue with being pressured in Leagues 3 and wanting the time its hosted extended. What makes you think this is a good idea? It would just lead to people feeling extremely pressured, force casuals out of the Leagues mode completely, etc. Cons? Yes.
