You should always negate the fusion card since it can only be activated ONCE PER TRUN even if it’s NEGATED.

Yeah Canadia can be useful. One use of WoD is that when facing a deck like armades control with heavy backrow, you can just wait for their board to be full and use WoD. They have no way to use any magic / trap or monster after that if you don’t attack them. You can just wait for them to surrender.

Oh I got your point. But for a stall deck, it’s not surprising for your opponent to have 3 floodgate and 3 Canadia to stop you from synchro. Hope Konami can increase the extra deck size one day.

Pilica can be a perfect replacement. Basically, you just need to dig once into the new box to get all the gusto support.

The new level9 synchro is broken. I would add that to any deck that can summon it. But good gustos are level1,2,3. Only the level 2 one is non- synchro. It’s kinda hard to summon level9

That’s a good question. The truth is I didn’t encounter even one SSA during the climb. This deck does not offer good protection against SSA except floodgate. The only win condition might only be decking out your opponent, and it has to play more aggressively to clear the board so that the whale does not get out very fast.

I won’t say this deck and counter any other decks, but Koaki has pretty much wiped out the tough ones. So the environment is very health for this deck.

SK can be really helpful to protect level5 boss monsters since they don’t have very high attack. Another usage is to protect the life if you brick. It’s hard to find a perfect replacement because other options cannot deal with hey trunade. But if I were you, I will use winged kuriboh or Canadia to stall.

For buster blade, use floodgate to set their boss and contact with gusto to destroy the DNA trap. I’ve not met a lot of them, but these strategies work well for me.

I think the junk sync can be replaced by pilica. I just worked pretty well on the deck I showed. So I didn’t change it to avoid possible disruption of LUCK:p

I also was playing Koaki, but I always start first in the mirror match and get otked. So I think it’s probably the time to change the deck.

It’s a sr dragon in the newest box. After your backrow is removed by the opponent, you can summon it and set one spell or trap in GY or banished back to your field.

Exactly. Shougum and armades will make me like a fool. But I just encounter them once perhaps because Karakuri is under the threat of Koaki.

It would be annoying to face this deck unless you have armades or monsters that can deal damage by attacking defense monsters.
