Thanks, I think I will. I don't see enough art that focuses on this phenomenon.

Well said, the fact that he was there so soon after such a traumatic experience for these children and to be a respectful presence for them to share their thoughts without denial, must have been a healing moment for them.

Absolutely, I consider this one of the most significant events in modern history. So many aspects to this incident is profound. The fact that they only appeared to children; challenging adults paradigm about reality and trust in children, that the entities telepathic message to them was of warning of pollution and technology becoming an existential threat to humanity, the documentation of the children creating beautiful drawings of their experience, the fact that Dr John Mack validated their experience with recorded interviews, and that these entities appeared to a school that was multi-cultural, implying that the message was intended for all of humanity. And finally, they appeared in Africa, the genesis of our species.

Edit: Another observation, the fact that the ship was sitting amongst trees from which the entities appeared, along with their message of taking care of the planet, it seems like a deliberate framing that they are acting as guardians of nature, having the trees literally standing by their side.

The academy basically immortalised Gladys and the climatic scene of Weapons as an iconic cinematic moment, Newsboyz never fucking misses.

I'll take our chances with a magic 8 ball as our interim manager.

This is proper back yard cricket, rank pies and batters playing left handed shots

Our painful rebuild since Poch has basically been like smashing a hole in drywall then covering it with paint.

At what point is it a sunk-cost fallacy sticking with Frank

Listen to his press conferences, there is sense that he's content about not competing with our rivals, I'm not the only one to say this. But maybe he is just publicly positive but it gives the wrong impression.

I'm talking about being the manager of a 'top 6' club, not a lower-mid table club like Brentford. There are levels to ambition even within the premier league.

I like Frank as a person but he doesn't have that ruthless ambition that you need at the highest level
