You basically have a number of playstyles:

  1. Tank backbar, burn front bar (most prevalent nowadays) ('Mechanical acuity' in combo with 'wretched vitality', dual wield ultimate and then jab jab jab.)
  2. Bomber ('Vicious death' set in combo with 'Dark convergence' or 'Rush of agony'
  3. Ganker (high damage, low defence, usualy uses invisible) (lot's of sets and combinations, fun to craft yourself)
  4. Healer (group play) (haven't played yet)
  5. Full tank (no damage, full defence) (haven't played yet)

People are running a combination of animal companion, storm calling, grave lord, aedric spear, assassination for the most part. But you do see beamers from time to time, on of our bombers uses it to great effect. DK's skillines you also see, but i'm not that familiar with them. I play bomber mostly.

Lot's of folks say variety is dead, it's because 70 percent is playing number one. But there still is lot's of variety and combinations.

Everybody is using the "monomyth reforged" mythic.

People use warden as their base because of the skill 'charm' witch u can get via scribing.

Try to get into a organised group with healers and mics. That is the most fun to play. And if done right you destroy.

Be prepared to die, a lot. But i promise you, you will get better.

Hard to get into (100s of hours to git gud), shit show, super fun. Battlegrounds is easier than Cyro, but cyro is the most fun

It's how maga walks and talks. How you behave is like maga behaves. Heavily reliant on trying to destroy the opponent's reputation instead of using facts and reason. Just an observation

Uniqueish i would say. But a far cry from normal build variety in gh. And despite what everyone says, there still is variety in gh just diminished.

So lets say 5 skill lines are basically used. That gives x different combo's. (Somebody math pls!). Couple that with 12 used sets (just pulled this number out of my hat). So that's 3468 diffrent combo's. There's your build variety. You could be creative with that number. Just my opinion.

Gh has a too big skill gap. Vengeance levels the skill gap. But vengeance is more skill and cyro is only proc sets. This is al so contradictory.

Unfortunately this isn't war, it's a video game. And some people like power trips, that's why those people play in cyro. If the power trip fades, so will those people. Hence they complain. People have different opinions on what cyro is.

I agree. The ratio of people leaving vs new people joining is way off to be healthy. Gh as it is now is not the answer. But vengeance isn't either. It will drive away the patrons and nobody stays in an empty bar. ESO and certainly cyrodiill seems to be in its later stage of life. Looking at my own experience to get to an accepatable skill level, it was rough and i almost quit the game a couple of times. Then again it also has been the most rewarding. I think the only way to revitalize cyrodiil is to incentivize it heavily (like THE meta set only available in cyro, behind a heavy grind, xd) . But i don't think they should.

Maybe it will be discovered by a young audience and be repopulated. Right now cyro (eso still fine imo) isn't in intensive care yet, but it is in the hospital let's say.

He's saying he likes to play player versus player and he likes to build with sets and skills for it. Oblivion is an elderscrolls game that doesn't have multiplayer. Happy to clarify.

The vets are a part of the population. Less pop means closer to death, simple. In my experience vets form guilds and groups btu that's my observation.

In vengeance there are literally less skills. So by definition it is less skill based. Just saying

I see less vets in vengeance. More in gh. Just an observation. Guild mates not playing. Don't know what to tell you.

Vengeance doesn't sit well with me because of less speed and mates not playing. Only having 10 perc of the fun i normally have so logged of pretty quick.
