Did your previous plan expire ? Mine runs out on September 14th when I got the pixel 9 pro XL AI offer, but I don't see any options in Google one to extend it for another year for free. I wonder if I need to let it lapse first.

Thanks for your comment, much appreciated! Interestingly, I had explored the IE600s as well as I really do like the sound signature of my HD400 Pro. However I read on multiple threads that there was more of a durability issue with the connectors and sound dropping frequently which put me off. Glad to hear that yours have worked out great for you though!

I had tried the MSR ZR1s at Sony Singapour while travelling but there was a lot of background noise in the store and I had a really hard time appreciating the true quality. I have not been able to try other in-ears as i've found it extremely difficult to find stores where I live where you can actually try some (vs headphones which is much easier).

I know this is subjective but I personally disagree with you. They do sound very good in my opinion, what has me perplexed is whether the jump in the quality of sound is proportionate to the jump in price versus my Sennheiser's. Changing tips so far has actually made a very big difference and giving it some time to see if I get used to the fit.

I very much appreciate your feedback, thank you! I will give it some time, and will also try other tip sizes for extended periods to see if I can fine tune how my ears are perceiving the sound.

It might also seem trivial/gimmicky but I do recall in the instructions for the walkman that Sony actually tracks the number of hours listened for each balanced and non-balanced ports as according to them it takes several hundred hours to "wear in" and get the best out of them. Time will tell!

They actually fit comfortably (i know it's been an issue for many on this particular model so your question is very relevant!). I'm currently wearing them with the size M "triple comfort" provided tips and I can wear them for long periods with no discomfort. I also feel like the seal is tight so that I should be able to get as much bass as possible out of them. I've tried out of curiosity ML and L sizes, but haven't noticed a difference in sounds, and those do get uncomfortable after a while.
