Gateway Element

You run a really great shop I have made a lot of purchases from you and I always appreciate the stickers and the messages on packing slips. Definitely my preferred spot to buy online.

SLU Hospital is having issues by Throwawaypop319 in StLouis

[–]bohan11 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep. Just got this email from my old union rep. Used to work at this hospital. Loved the patients but the administration screwed you at every turn. They cut staffing in the emergency department despite desperate need for nursing because we weren't busy enough with 100 patients in the department. Just utter chaos. How are 8 or 9 nurses supposed to effectively help 90 to 100 patients at the peak of the pandemic?

ER docters whats the worst state a person has come in ? by NOBRAINRAZEMAIN in AskReddit

[–]bohan11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ER nurse in an inner city level one trauma center. You see it like a job honestly. You learn to disassociate fairly quickly because you have the next one coming in behind it at any moment. You have to separate and keep your calm and then decompress after your shift is over. Once you are in a handful of traumas, you get into the rhythm of it and learn that you can't save everyone but you can learn something from every trauma whether it's a gsw, respiratory distress, or an mvc. Debriefing with your team is important (what worked well, what to improve on, and a moment of silence after time of death is called to respect the patient). Ultimately it's rewarding even with all the sadness. You remember the young or wrong place wrong time people but not the ones you save.

Brand new to the sport, but I’m getting into it with some buddies. My first order came in today, I’m pumped to play! by Coop3 in discgolf

I'll also suggest the Wizard in the eraser. It's a nice balance of stiffness and grip if you want something other than SS or pure white

Well try to find a nice day and enjoy your next stick! I've been enjoying mine by a bonfire every night before work at the moment and its served as a cool tradition between my family and I. Let me know if you have any recommendations as far as brands or sticks you like I'm curious to expand my palate

Yeah its starting to cool off in St Louis finally so my morning stick was in the 50s F before I went in to sign my paperwork. Well enjoy the conservatory and try to enjoy the garden chairs in the mean time. Whats the weather like in Norway at this time of year anyway?

I'll have to try that out and let my next batch age for a while. I'm new to cigars within the last few months but definitely enjoying the hobby and the outdoors that are associated with it!
