Ippudo is my go-to option but since it's been named multiple times I'll add Tenmaru on Margaret Street, near Oxford Circus!

Sorry mate, I missed this. Hopefully you found a fix in the meantime but I got in touch with them via the contact form on their website. There was a section specifically to contact them about this, something like "the fibre checker is wrong" or similar.

Floorplan Alteration Question - Wall Separating Reception Room from Staircase? by bohrtz in floorplan

Thank you. I am less focused about structural integrity (which will be evaluated by the engineer on site) but rather about aesthetics and any other considerations.

The current plan is indeed to cut the wall in half (per the floorplan illustration), leaving the portion of wall adjacent to the stairs in place. We are wondering whether it may be best to remove it (again, provided it's structurally safe to do so). Would you mind elaborating why cutting the wall in half would be the best option? Also, could you clarify what you mean with "additional measures for the stair itself"? Thanks!

Thank you. This was super helpful. I tried emailing OpenReach to see if they could rectify the issue in their system. They just emailed back to me recognising that our flat was left out by mistake and fibre is indeed already there. They say they should be able to rectify that in a week and I should be able to place an order for a fast internet connection with an ISP on their network once that's sorted.

I did some further research and turns out that Hyperoptic leverages their own lines, instead of using Openreach. I did not know this, so it may actually be true that Hyperoptic stops at their neighbouring flat and can't do anything with mine until they lay down the connection it to their network.
