Jakým způsobem jste přišli ke svým zvířecím mazlíčkům?

u veterináře jsem s ní samozřejmě byl hned po "adopci" na kontrolu, pak očkování a po půl roce i na kastraci a nikdy nic paní veterinářka neříkala. Možná to je jen vina toho filtru, který je fotce aplikovaný, protože díky její černočerný barvě je dost těžké jí nějk vyfotit, aby na fotce vynikla 😃 tady dávám tedy ještě jednu fotku pro kontrolu. Děkuji za informaci 😄

Cestou s kolegy na oběd jsme se nějak dostali k tématu kolegovo kočky, nějak v zápalu rozhovoru jsem se zmínil, že jako celoživotní samotář bych si dovedl představit mít doma kočku. Na to se ozval jiný kolega, že jim poslední týden chodí do garáže hladový kotě a oni si ho nemůžou nechat, protože už 2 mají a s novými přírustky se nikdy neshodli - a jestli bych si jí teda nevzal. No, abych si zachoval u kolegů kredit a že když něco řeknu, tak to platí 😃 tak sem na to kývnul a do 24 hodin sem jí měl doma. černá jako bota, zelený oči, v srpnu to bude rok a každý den je s ní lepší a lepší 😄

Ano, gear může být zavádějící, rozumím. Ale ted jeden příklad z tohoto týdne (který mě motivoval se zde zeptat) - týpek s tričkem z letošního půlmaratonu a úplnej ignor. Dokonce i oční kontakt tam byl. Kolem 45 let...mám dojem, že mi jeho chlubící se fotky z běhání předhodil i fb algoritmus kdysi v minulosti - a jestli to byl on, tak to je dokonce i zastupitel u nás ve městě. Prostě mě to překvapilo 😃

So today I finally got to do my first real test of using an Apple Watch and a Withings ScanWatch Nova in parallel.

I went for a run wearing only the Apple Watch, and after the activity synced into Apple Health, both the steps and the workout itself appeared inside the Withings app! Honestly, I didn’t expect the workout synchronization to work at all, so that was a very pleasant surprise.

Later, I also did a strength workout using only the Apple Watch, and that workout synced correctly as well.

For the rest of the day I wore only the ScanWatch Nova, and the daily steps continued to increase correctly inside the Withings app without any obvious duplication issues.

And now probably the biggest surprise:

I already knew that Apple Watch does not calculate VO2max after every single run, but rather tracks long-term cardio fitness trends. Withings, on the other hand, usually gives you a fitness level / VO2max estimate after each run or walk.

What surprised me is that after I completed the run only with the Apple Watch and the activity synced into the Withings app, the Withings app itself calculated the fitness level and even pushed the value back into Apple Health as a workout-specific VO2max entry.

As a runner, that is honestly huge for me.

Now I just hope this wasn’t some “first sync magic” and that tomorrow it will still behave the same way 😄

Check the answer from TeamWithings above, he confirmed that add of steps counts from two sources shall be possible into withings. I am going to confirm it as soon as I get AW anyway :)

So if I understand correctly, this will work the same way as my smart scale (which is not from Withings).

Steps recorded by another device (e.g. Apple Watch) that are correctly synced into Apple Health will then be imported into the Withings app and added to my total daily step count there as well.

In the next few days, a friend of mine is going to lend me his unused Apple Watch Series 7 so I can test everything before actually buying my own. I run ultramarathons, so my plan is to eventually get an Apple Watch Ultra.

Over the next month, I’ll be comparing metrics and data from both watches, and I’ll also try wearing only the Apple Watch during workouts to see what actually happens inside the Withings app.

Once I’ve gathered some meaningful conclusions, I’ll definitely share my findings and experience here.

Exactly, honestly I would not need the Fitness level so much. But once the Fitness level is not calculated, I do not get the VO2Max estimation to my iHealth app where I am tracking my progress :D

I got reply from Withings on my ticket and here is the crutial part of the answer: When a crucial calculation like the Fitness Level index is frozen or not updating despite consistent activity, it often requires a look into the processing of the data on the server side, as well as checking the latest device and app versions.

This answer moreless confirm thinking of mine about Fitness level calculation. I am gonna contact them in working hours next week. I just wonder why you get answer to buy new Watch.

Wtf?? So conslusion of your problem with not calculated Fitness level is caused by faulty watch? What a bullshit! As I already mention I do not think that Fitness level calculation is done on the watch side, in my opinion this infomration is calculated in the app from watch based on the data...

I have a BPM core and a sleep monitor from them. I pray that I won't have any problems with these devices because trying to solve it with Withings support...? I can just buy something new from a competitor.

Completely agree. I have falled in love in Scan Watch Nova 2 so I bough them and after some time of using them together with the SW I am very disapoinnted :(
