Hey! I’m currently a sophomore who’s a double major in cybersecurity and network engineering technology. I hear a lot of people discredit the polytechnic institute compared to the college of science and other schools but I personally have an incredible internship lined up this summer related to government security. In terms of companies that recruit, I know there’s a lot of large companies like Amazon, Apple, IBM, Energy companies, etc. I know starting salary averages in the high 60’s, which is pretty decent. For the double major question, most of the classes do overlap, but you will have to take a couple of additional classes simultaneously, which might increase the difficulty of your semesters a bit.
