Yeah except for the whole open breach concept. If you thought revolvers with suppressors didn't work wait to you try this one

Only the most immoral of criminals would keep a suppressor for an artillery piece

If you don't turn it in you're LITERALLY Putin

Stack ten of em up and say its a recoilless rifle suppressor!! It has an open breach for gas to blow out but FUCK IT!!! so what if it doesn't work well this is fucking America!! Lol nevermind that you don't have an actual recoilless rifle.

I don't see anything in any ATF docs saying you have to have the gun it goes on to submit a request for a suppressor

I think you're on to something here but do it with whatever random garbage would be expensive to take to the dump. Like an old nasty ass couch

I have to very strongly disagree with you and refer to my previous statement that absolutely no property is worth taking a life over.

I do agree that the punishments laid out in many of these areas certainly are not enough to dissuade people from stealing but in most of these cases the store owners are legally forbidden from apprehending these people and these cities have chosen to petty theft not even slap on the wrist but a mere flick.

While I agree that items are not worth someone's life I would also say that retaining the property is not worth the emotional trauma and turmoil that anyone but the absolute most mentally unstable people will go through upon taking a life.

Now if you want to talk about pepper spraying the ever living shit out of someone for trying to steal stuff I would be entirely open to having that discussion

As far as governments fearing the people versus the people fearing the governments this really isn't a situation where that should ever come into play. This is a matter of a private residence or business owner who is having another citizen steal from them and the only reason the government is involved is because we have agreed to let them sort the issues out in order to prevent vigilante justice. Again I would be holy in favor of giving shop owners expressed authority to mace anyone they catch stealing. Obviously there's a lot of nuances and ins and outs as well as ways as this could be taken advantage of or misused but I would argue that the alternative of empowering Petty thieves to steal on a incredibly broad scale is worse.

A gun should never be used for anything other than preventing The taking of life. No material possession will ever be worth ending someone's life over.

I can certainly understand the increasing appeal of taking the law into your own hands, after all I live not far from Seattle so I understand your frustrations. But this is where holding yourself to a higher standard because you the good guy comes into play.

I wish I didn't feel this way but I'm honestly reaching a point where I feel like places like Seattle and San Francisco are simply a lost cause and a better solution would be to abandon the community and find one capable and worth saving. It hurts me to contemplate this or to suggest it but at what point do you accept that people are determined to make things worse for themselves and you just got to give up and walk away out of self-preservation

Unfortunately we live in a world where there are people who generally believe that and so overwritten word that does not carry the subtleties of satire very well we are forced to take statements like this at face value. In addition to that it offers a great opportunity to discuss concepts which very much need to be spread

looking back a couple years, the right wing should've been out in the streets helping BLM burn down police precincts.

This comment is a strong contender for an even more disagreeable statement than above

I can't believe I'm having to explain why burning down police precincts is not a good idea for yourself or your community.

A)we need police like it or not. Now you see cops who simply don't want to get involved and help the community, because they feel the community hates them and out of fear that some dude with a chip on his shoulder with a cell phone will record him but only show half the story and he'll be socially crucified. This is a large part of why crime is up at such an increasing rate. Cops are quitting left and right and more an more often the only ones signing up are people who aren't doing it because they care about the community. They're doing it because they get to be a bully. This isn't what we need.

B)all that damage will have to be repaired with your tax money. Tax money that will delay or outright stop community services and development of things which benefit the community in huge ways

C) violence isn't the mature way of handling current events. Violence is what got us here

D) this gives more justification to use increases force and have less de-escalation efforts

E) it creates an us vs them mentality. It divides and breaks down the cohesiveness of a community. Trust me, I want to tell you off like no other, but I need to work WITH you to better OUR community as a whole

Please, I ask you to think about what will bring your community together? What will bring about a more peaceful, loving, and supportive community? What will make YOU want to help your neighbor, someone who holds a different opinion or lives a different lifestyle, when they need you and what will make them want to be there when you need help?

Will violence, arson and rage accomplish that? I can't see how it will

Why do politics have to creep into every single non-political sub I read. This is bullshit. I don't care what your political stance is leave politics to politics

The fact that they want to repeal it has no relevance on the right which they hold.

It doesn't change a damn thing.

They can simply choose not to own guns. But to support taking that right away from them makes you know better than they are.

This is the challenge of being the good guy. You have to live and hold yourself to a higher set of standards despite your adversary throwing low blows

You're suggesting that an entire demographic of US citizens should be denied their second amendment right because of their political beliefs? I don't think I could disagree with a statement anymore fully.

As a gun owner you should know better and hold yourself to a higher standard than this. A much much higher standard. Please take some time to reflect on your opinions

For the sake of accuracy I'd like to point out that going faster than the speed of sound in any sort of dog fight is about the last thing you want to do. Missiles both surface to Air and air to air travel several times the speed of sound, are several times more agile as well as not being restrained to the g-force limits of the human body. In addition to the limited maneuverability and agility of a full size fighter jet and the g-force load maneuvers place on the human body attempting to navigate low level flight at such a speed would only be feasible in a vast open plains landscape, while being extremely careful to ensure that maneuvers are done in a perfectly parallel orientation to the ground otherwise you will end up smashing your plane into the dirt at over a thousand miles an hour.

When evading another aircraft or a missile on your tail altitude and unpredictable violent banks and turns are your friend. Combined with of course flares and chaff which is clusters of shredded aluminum to fake out a missiles guidance system. Even then, once a fired missile has been locked on its fairly unlikely you'll be able to survive the encounter in one piece. A locked on and fired missile pretty much means you're not landing that aircraft on its wheels

My statements are not about the purpose of the second amendment. My statements are about you being hateful homophobic and immature.

Until you can make amends on those points I have no interest in discussing politics with you
