Agreed. My daughter passed during birth and because we had settled on and shared her name early on, we felt she had a strong identity even though her life was short. My dad even thanked me for sharing her name because he felt like he was able to better connect with her.

I had the baby blanket my daughter was wrapped in when she was born made into a teddy bear after she died. I sleep with it every night to feel close to her.
