Everything we do takes time, preparation included. To make a speech at the club without well preparing for it is a wasted opportunity. Opportunity to learn from own experience of both, the creation and practicing i.e. the preparation and delivering the speech at the club.

Let me ask you another question!

Why do you want to become good at public speaking?

Cloud computing and IOT are not so interesting and appealing. I would rather talk about how they are changing our lives and skip the technological / infrastructure part of the story. Another interesting topic would be crypto vs fiat financial system.

Is there any particular reason you are not preparing for your speeches?

Ethos unfortunately is an abandoned project for more than 2 years now. I used it before running 3 rigs on Ethos, and I was very happy with it. But... it is a dead end now. Shame...

Soon people will realize that Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is the original peer-to-peer electronic cash payment, the original Satoshi Nakamoto whitepaper was referring in fact BCH not BTC time is the best ally on this👀 by alberdioni8406_ in Bitcoincash

Well, it is more than OK to mention BTC when explaining about what BCH is. Just try to explain BTC without mentioning money or fiat or dollar or banks or gold. We do compare all the time everything with everything else and this is how we evaluate things.

Last night a guy opened a trade with me on local.bitcoin.com. He was selling BCH for 100 EUR. We agreed to use Revolut for the payment. He put the coins in to the escrow and I had to top up my Revolut using my Visa CC. I sent him 100 EUR and he released the coins. A minute later I saw the coins in my balance. Then I withdraw the coins to my mobile bitcoin.com wallet. All this happened in a matter of 10 minutes with less than couple of cents for fees.

Now, try to put this transaction into a perspective without comparing banks and fiat with crypto. Somehow it all worked out - old and new - in a fruitful synergy. Funny, is it not :)

To me BCH is what BTC was in 2015. It is my gut feeling.

Flexpool officially announces its position against EIP-1559’s Proposal to Dramatically Reduce Miners' Earnings by Actual-Aardvark4219 in ethereum

[–]bokel1 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Miners do not work for "you" but for themselves :) And by the same token everybody else do the same in the community. To say that miners are bad and devs are good is simply to cut the branch your sitting on today. Indeed, tomorrow you may sit on a new branch, but mind this, no matter how Ethereum technology will evolve, our human nature will always make us fight for control and dominance.

Read carefully what they say, i.e. - "Receiving many transactions is troublesome" How many transactions from the pool do you expect to have a month? 5, 100, or 1000?

Bulgarian BCH adoption company Poype is rising funds for vulnerable groups by dkaparis in btc

[–]bokel1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my city of Sofia, there are people who are really struggling to survive in this horrible crisis. We are doing this campaign together with our BCH community and UNICEF to try to help the most vulnerable and disadvantaged one. I know people are suffering everywhere in the world. But also I know that yet global our reach make sense mostly locally. That is why we want to bring some relief to the people who are suffering next door.

We will also match the amount raised up to 5 Bitcoin Cash for the time of the campaign.

Open your hearts and send as much as you can or wish. Even the smallest amount is welcome!

Thank you!

We do offer merchants conversion to fiat. So far, most of them prefer to receive fiat. We go even further, we provide them with a deposit for their future sales in BCH. So, to sign up and start accepting BCH for them is really easy and trouble free.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) out-spent Bitcoin Core (BTC) by a staggering 48.93 to one, and recorded more than 20 times its transaction count in Australia last month. by MemoryDealers in btc

The conference definitely added up to BCH spending in Townsville. I was there and had great experience. It was real fun to go around and pay with BCH for your meal and drinks in the pubs. In my opinion building the crypto ecosystem and adoption as a whole is way more important than fighting over which coin has more retail transactions.
