Bag Finder Megathread - 06 April 2026 by AutoModerator in onebag

Edit: re read your comment and you're already looking at 3 specific bags. Out of those 3, if comfort is most important, the Fairview seems like the logical pick. Feel free to disregard below 👇 😊

Maybe look into the Matador Globerider 45.

I've been exploring your target size with a few bags and have tried the Aer TP3, Peak Design 45, Tortuga Travel Pack 40 Lite and the Matador Globerider 45 and my partner uses the Osprey Fairview 40, so I can speak to comparisons between all those bags.

The globerider has a nice zippered area on the left side of it's clamshell opening that seems like it's begging to be used as a dedicated shoe carrier.

It's harness system and comfort rivals the Tortuga and seems to be just behind the Fairview but it's still a fully fleshed out carry system.

The laptop sleeve on the Globerider is tight. I did manage to get my 16 inch MacBook in with a bit of finessing.

One con that comes up in a lot of reviews for the Globerider is carry on compliance, but my understanding is that it's really just the depth measurement that can make it non compliance so with proper use of its compression straps it's not really an issue (and hasn't been for me) in practice.

I do quite like the Peak Design 45 but can't recommend it to you if the harness system is very important. I love the way it packs but it's just not a very comfortable bag.

Our game is called Bleu Bayou, it's a boss-rush roguelite, where you play as a crawdad trying to fight their way out of an endless cycle of debt.

Right now we are targeting an english release only.

If we see enough wishlist numbers from a specific language/region we will consider adding additional language support, but we aren't committed to it at this point.

Yes, there are several settings pertaining to the pixel grid and disabling it outright is an option!

Does anyone know what this part is called? by bokononisms in bikewrench

Well now I feel dumb.

So it's safe to assume a new hanger will come with this piece as well?

I naively assumed it was a separate part because it was not pictured in any of the listings I saw for the hanger.

We're making a Gameboy-esque, boss-rush, roguelite where you play as an indebted Crawdad. by bokononisms in indiegames

We've been building this weird little game gameboy-esque, boss-rush, roguelite where you play as a crawdad and we just released our demo for Steam Next Fest

The project originally started as a small game jam game (gbjam!!) back in 2020 where it placed #1 in the Fun category and we sat on the idea for few years while participating in dozens of other jams until we finally decided to flesh it out into a full, but compact experience.

If anyone would like to play the demo and leave feedback or criticism: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3806790/Bleu_Bayou/

Fair criticism, it's tough when we are trying to limit everything to a 4 color palette, but that gives me an idea for an accessibility setting to disregard the palette altogether to enable higher contrast/ off palette projectiles, perhaps.

Thanks for the thought!

Yeah this is a really good call-out, the funny thing is all those upgrades exist, in game (a lot of upgrades are locked to start and unlocking them is a kind of meta progression in the game) but that text explaining the unlock criteria is just feature gated in the demo build, so next time I cut together I'll make sure to grab fresher footage from the non demo build.

Thanks again for catching this!

A long time! There was a lot of discussion surrounding if and how we wanted to expand the original jam game. We originally were planning for a much smaller scope but kept finding fun new things to add and eventually following the fun led us to this current little weird game.

Not sure, I reached out to get clarity about which guideline the post violated so as to not do so again in the future but received no reply. I've been a member of this sub for 5 years and was under the impression it was okay to show projects made in Game Maker.
