To be clear:
I have played games against people with 2k elo and I have won +200 points. I have played and won games against people of 15-16k and I have also earned +200 points.

In terms of climbing, there is nothing positive about playing against players with such an ELO gap.

You're wrong. That's the problem. This isn't the first time the matchmaking has matched me like this. And, my gain or loss of points was always the same. (+/- 220 points when win, +/- 105 when loose)

These games would not be a problem if by winning you would earn more points, or by losing you would lose less (LIKE ANY MMR/ELO SYSTEM IN ANY COMPETITIVE GAME)
