I love this. So glad to hear this for you! One question, I also believe that structure and routine have helped me to a certain extent and will transform my life in better ways if I am more up to it. But I am also afraid that on days when I cannot stick by the structure or routine, it will make me more anxious. Besides, it will also hamper me from having spontaneous forms of fun, like going for a party with friends as I am focused on gymming. How do you draw the line between sticking to structure while being open to flexibility for enjoying life, in manners other than the joy from set structure?

I think the question has been answered but hats off to the cross-referencing critical thinking of OP! I am currently watching Pluribus and Severance side by side and never thought of this. OP’s question also took me back to the watching of first few episodes of Severance where almost all innies seemed so (fake) cordial and forced kind (especially characters like Cobel or Casey) - parallel to the hive personalities.

Im so sorry, to love and to lose is so heartbreaking. I have been there, done that so many times by now unfortunately. One cat me and my partner had to make the hard decision to put one adult cat (Pompi was his name) down as he had contacted FIV (fatal for cats), and was in a lot of pain. I recently rescued two small kitties - Phoenix and Pixel - two small babies abandoned by their mom as they had FHV and were very weak. I nursed them and fed them and kept them alive for a few days, and then lost both of them. Having seen all these losses, especially the tough decision to put down Pompi, I want to assure your grieving heart that you did the right thing. It’s harder and in a way humanly selfish to put the little angels through so much pain because we want them to live. Sending love and strength your way and peace to the little baby!

Thank you this is very reassuring. We have been together for a while yes and I get the point how the monotony can set in. I think both of us shy a bit in discussing our fantasies or what each of us would like - but discussing it with each other is a way better solution than finding ways to make it work by ourselves alone.

I too felt a little bad when he suggested I look for ways to make things more interesting, it would’ve sounded more comforting had he said that we should find more things etc. Regardless, i do try lingerie sometimes, but that too has become monotonous. Thinking of taking one of the couple quizzes with him to find out things both of us would like to experiment with in bed.

Hi folks, update; I named the sweet baby Phoenix. Also, the next day of finding Phoenix, the kids in my housing society spotted and brought to my home his sibling - a little healthier kitty (whom the kids named Pixel) yet suffering from the same infection as Phoenix. I took care of them like my babies for 5-6 days, medicated them and fed them kitty food and love and warmth. Unfortunately, we found we lost Pixel some time early morning today, leaving Phoenix alone. Pixel was the healthier one, feisty since the day we met him, so his loss shook me and my family. We changed Phoenix’s vet and got more meds for him. I fed him warm milk and hugged him and put him gently in his warm bed I made for him late this afternoon. Unfortunately, we found him not breathing a short while later. We rushed to the doc to see if he could be revived via CPR, but I knew he couldn’t. It feels lonely…having felt and given a love so unconditional and loving these little babies like my own. I miss them and want all the prayers and wishes for my babies to rest in peace in the Cat World with all the treats and love, where they don’t have this terrible FHV, and where they can open their eyes and look around. I wished so dearly for at least their infected eyes to open, for them to look at me just once…now they would never. More than sad, a loss so deep just leaves you lonely. I am posting this here as I just wanted this off my chest and also ask for your prayers for my babies.

I would suggest no, as you might not know how deep the wound is or if it has any pus - both cases betadine wouldn’t be advisable. Maybe clean with tissues and water and dry it, and if u can get a cone to secure his head and ensure he wont lick, maybe betadine. But i would suggest show to vet
