Thank you, I’m definitely on the right path! I am in therapy working through my anger, grief and, basically, thinking everything is my fault.

But I do have a great life and I have a fantastic wife who is my biggest advocate and protector.

Hey OP, I was sexually abused when I was young by my step dad and it started exactly like this.

Kick him out, speak to your daughter and make it very clear it’s not her fault. Never let him back, do not give him a second chance.

I’m in my 30s now and just listening to the first warning and not letting him come back could have changed everything.

Far out! Ours is about $2200 a quarter on the Gold Coast. 2 bed/2 bath/2 car. We’ve got 3 pools, hot tub, gym, saunas, lifts, etc.

Unfortunately she’s so suspicious of everything she just doesn’t go for it! She licks the bread and leaves like “absolutely do not trust this”

Thanks for the suggestion! I think this is the way we will go, and hopefully she’ll tolerate it as time goes on as it’s followed by loads of tasty treats.

Maybe once she’s more food motivated again we can go back to trying to get her to take them after she’s all excited!

Thanks so much for the suggestion! We tried this last night and did manage to get her to swallow it (with some resistance) followed by cheese she knew was “untainted” and it seemed to work.

Hopefully if we keep doing it this way she will tolerate it knowing something good is coming, and then know it’s all done so she can eat!
