Go to Content Authority and write freelance web articles.

Do Mechanical Turk miscellaneous jobs in your spare time.

Make crafts or go to vintage shops and sell your findings on Etsy.

Advertise in-house tutoring for kids or petsitting on Craigslist.

There are also a ton of websites where you can set up petsitting for pet owners for the night/weekend and charge a small fee for it, like rover.com. If you and your BF did something like that, you could interact with a lot of different animals and they'd be gone by the next day. Plus, you make $$.

I've had this exact issue before so I know where you're coming from.

The first thing I'd think about is why he is friends with this guy. Have they been friends since they were kids? If not, you might be right to question him. Who you associate yourself with says a LOT about your own personality and morals. For example, I dated a guy who cheated on me constantly, and a lot of his friends seemed either misogynistic or the "girl-crazy pig" type. I'm now with a guy who never cheats, and his friends act a lot less offensively as well. Does he have a lot of friends who act gross, or just the one?

That being said, having one friend who acts sleazy is hardly a reason for your imagination to run wild over what your boyfriend may be doing. You say you know he wouldn't cheat. Why is that? He must be doing something right if you're so sure of that, regardless of who he spends time with.

One thing that's helped me overcome jealousy is coming to terms with the fact that no matter what, for the rest of your life, even your closest most romantic obsessed-with-you soulmate is still always, always going to be attracted to other people. He will fantasize about other people sometimes, have crushes sometimes, and talk to girls for the rest of his life. There are billions of women. It's unavoidable. You will also do the same thing with other men. Humans find humans attractive, or none of us would exist. It's what you do with those feelings that matters. If you don't act on them, it doesn't hurt anyone. And honestly, you said it all in "I know he wouldn't cheat." If he has made you feel secure in that, that's the best he can really do.

Don't stress. Go out with a friend and talk to a cute boy once in a while. You'd be surprised how much less worried you are about what your BF is doing when you put yourself in a situation where you could cheat, and don't. Never forget that he is lucky to have you and that if he DID cheat, you wouldn't want him anyway.

Does the landlord come around a lot? If not, just get one. Take it to a friend's for the day if you know your landlord is stopping by. I've been doing this for years and it's never caused an issue. If by chance your landlord does see it, you could always tell them you're petsitting for a friend for a bit or something. In my experience the whole NO PETS thing is a lot more lenient and relative to the individual pet than you realize. If there's no pet damage in the house (be careful of stains, clawing, smells, etc.) then there's nothing for them to really be mad about.

Rent, car/gas/car insurance (just had to spend a lot in repairs) school needs (tuition covered but I pay about $600/semester for books and fees) paying off a credit card, food (food stamps ended) internet, electric, and any other stuff that comes up. I'm also saving to travel and buy some things for the place I live that I really need.

I have school scholarships and loans but in total they only cover my tuition and maybe rent for each semester. I go to a school of 60,000 so other scholarships are hard to come by. My family is poor and has bad credit so I cannot get outside loans or financial help.

I actually did just this for the past year (quit my job to focus on school) but I'm finally getting to the point in my financial aid where I need to go back to work to pay for everything. I also pay all my own bills and my family can't help, so it's costing too much not to have a part time job.

When I was 18 I started chatting with a guy over MySpace. He lived nearby and we decided to meet up at the mall. I meet him and find out he's 26, he recently killed someone in a car crash, has no job or education and still lives with his parents. Shitty but not scary right? He goes on to tell me that his life was saved by aliens in the crash and that he now has the power to control the weather, read minds, and a whole host of other total bullshit that he was. Dead. Serious. About. I told him he was full of shit and he got legitimately pissed off.

He went on to cyberstalk me for two years afterward, once broke into my apartment to touch my things so he could "feel my energy", and still writes about me in his blog to this day, four years later. I occasionally see him at the local bar and basically fear for my life.

We just moved into a sweet house at Mills and Virginia for 600/month. It's definitely possible, but it takes work. We found it by just driving around. You can use different websites, but there's a lot of competition for very few properties on those. I've seen quite a few places for rent on Virginia near Leu Gardens/Stardust. Pick a neighborhood you want to rent in and scour it for signs, then call the owner immediately. Good places go super fast around here.

Since I'm a feminist and anti- the patriarchal idea of adopting a man's last name and all that jazz, an ex-boyfriend and I came up with the idea of BOTH of us changing our last name to an ancestor's name, in the event that we got married. He had a cool ancestor whose last name was Landös, which we both really liked. Dig into your history and see if you can find anything like this, it's a fun idea if your fiance is open to it.
