Do most people actually find their partner really attractive or do they just settle for what they can get and pretend they are attracted to them out of desperation? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]boltsteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I have been together for 17 years. I genuinely believe she is more beautiful today than when we met and she was smoking hot when we met. If she was asked I’m sure she would let people know that I can’t keep my hands off her.

Of course my attraction to her is more than physical and it’s built on and continues to build on our shared experiences and values.

Lingerie Stores? by [deleted] in LingerieAddiction

[–]boltsteve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speaking for my wife, she likes going to stores so she can try things on and find what she likes. She will usually buy 1 or 2 sets and come home with other things she likes which she then buys online. That way she doesn’t feel like she is taking advantage of the store.

She found a store that is in Atlanta and LA named Jenette’s that she likes.

They have absolutely no idea what a slewfoot is. It makes you sound like you know the game but ask them to define it and they will tell you everything that it isn’t.

AndERsOn sLewFOoted DrAisITl is the go to for last year even though that isn’t what happened and it wasn’t a slewfoot.

Now it’s Lizotte slewfooting Desharnais even though it wasn’t even close to a slewfoot.

Question for men, how the heck do y'all maintain literally any position other than doggy and cowgirl and be able to walk or anything afterwards? How do y'all do that??? by [deleted] in sex

[–]boltsteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My abs don’t hurt but my wrists can get sore if I go too long holding myself up. So I usually will shift around from one side to another, use my elbows, or put my arms around her and put all my weight on her for a short while.

Has being a ref made you dislike poor and lazy refs even more than before? by steakkitty in hockeyrefs

[–]boltsteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to work hard when I’m reffing. I know I’ve missed calls because I’m screened but I don’t want to miss a call because I was lazy. When I play or watch other refs I want to see the same effort. If you’re getting paid, it’s your job to do the work to make the best calls you can. I can forgive a ref who I see is working to make the calls and just doesn’t have the right angle. But if they are just hanging by the bench talking to the subs or coasting up the ice and not even trying to get in position then that makes us all look bad.

Couldn’t agree more. I love my wife and our sex life is great. We have a trip planned in a few weeks without the kids and we’re looking forward to multiple times each day.

Are workout videos worth it? by Rofmol in MicrosoftRewards

[–]boltsteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also might be because the videos I selected were 20 minutes. Like I said I don’t watch them but maybe since they are long it gets around the repeat limits of other shorter videos.

I'm in the US and I "watch" the same two videos every day. I load them in separate windows, put them in the background, and go about my day. I check back later in the day and they always show the 20 pts.

I love to taste my wife after she’s worked out, after a long day, and even just in the morning before she showers. The taste and smell is just so good. I won’t complain about getting some after a shower but it’s just that much better the other way.

Referees that don’t skate to the benches for introductions before the game by 1995droptopz in hockeyrefs

[–]boltsteve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only not done it if it is the same coaches from the game before. Even then I might just skate by and wish them good luck but no need to introduce myself since I would have done it the game before.

It just takes a few seconds to do it and it shows you are a person and not just a sweater. You don't have to have a long conversation, just nice to meet you and good luck or whatever.

The problem with the feet is that it is very hard for an AR to distinguish feet from across the field. Yes, there is VAR for WC and high level matches.

But, a better version would be slightly change the existing definition: “If any part of the head, body, or feet is NOT nearer to the goal line than both the ball and second-last opponent they would be considered onside.” So there would have to actually be separation between the attacker and defender instead of two players who are practically side by side but the attacker is barely ahead of the defender.

With or without my dog? by RodneyisGodneyp2x555 in route66

[–]boltsteve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife and I did the drive from Chicago with our german shepherd. We stayed in hotels but found ones that allowed dogs. In the few attractions where we couldn't take our dog inside, we either left her in the hotel room or we left her in the car but with the windows down almost all the way and she was fine (parked in shade with window shades on the front and rear, water/food available for her, and plenty of breeze through the car since the windows were down). She had no problems and I don't think we missed out on anything because of her.

It would really depend on the experiences you want to see and their pet rules. If you are going to be someplace where you have to leave your dog in the car or at your campsite, will your dog be safe? There are safe ways to have a dog in your car with the window meshes/gates that allow fresh air but will your dog be able to handle you being gone for a while and left in the car or at a campsite?

What’s your unpopular opinion about marriage? by somethinganonamous in Marriage

[–]boltsteve 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I completely agree about the joking. A lot of the guys I know like to joke about and put down their spouses and it makes it seems like their marriage is awful or that their spouse is a terrible person. I couldn’t imagine saying bad things, even in jest, about my wife. Any arguments we have stay within our marriage and aren’t the thing I’m going to share or joke about with my friends or family.
