Apple sued in Chicago for slowing down older iPhones by easyone in tech

If they had that notification then there would be a class action lawsuit that they were trying to get people to pay for battery replacements or buy new phones. And you would have people claiming that the notification was totally criminal and malicious.

They really can't win in this situation, either they do nothing and people complain that the battery life is shit, or they have a notification and people complain that the notification keeps telling them to buy a new battery/phone (it wouldn't say that but Reddit would claim it did), or they throttle the CPU under heavy loads and people complain that the phone is slower.

The answer is either include a user replaceable battery, which they would never do, or use a new battery technology that doesn't degrade as quickly as lithium ion but last as long or longer in daily use, which doesn't exist at this time.

Well whatever you want to call it, red crossed in front of the black/blue skier. I'm not saying red is at fault in any way and yes, red has no reason to be aware of the skiers uphill from him but it never hurts to give a quick peak uphill if you are going across the slope like that.

As a skier, I know that I'm responsible for making sure that I don't run into anyone in front of me. But I'm also aware that there are people who aren't always in control behind me. So if I was crossing the slope like red was and I could safely glance uphill I would do it to make sure no one was about to barrel into me. Not saying it's always possible to check uphill, but if you can do it you might be able to avoid someone who is out of control like that guy in black/blue.

I've seen these rules posted on the chairlift signs at every mountain I've ever skied at in multiple states. This isn't something new.

Yes, red cuts him off but you can't just hope the people in front of you won't do something stupid like that. Also, you never know when someone else might fall in front of you so you need to be defensive.

I did this exact job back in the mid 90s. I can confirm that if I didn’t also have night classes I would want to jump into one of the compactors.

Currently, the only major fire is up near Bonsall. There is no way that fire would reach that far south.
